There’s one rule, which works all the time for my skin - the more expensive a foundation is, the better it’ll look over aging skin and the worst on my porous and problematic skin. My skin and this Shameless foundation turned each other down once and for good.
An innovative, medium foundation with up to 24-hour longwear and first-to-market, flashback-free SPF 25 for a youthful look.
I don’t know why but many makeup artists who worked on me always tried to apply this foundation or the one from Armani over my skin. They both don’t suit my skin and here the Sephora box also decided to promote it. So, it’s time to reveal all the disadvantages of the Marc Jacobs foundation.
The product offers a good color selection. There are a lot of shades with yellow undertone. The darker shades are significantly much yellower, so it’s better not to use them for face contouring. Only as a liquid bronzer maximum.
This foundation accentuates all the pores on my face and over time it changes its color for the lighter pigments in the places where it sets. It shows flaking skin and dry patches all the time. Besides, the coverage travels down throughout the day. In a word, I don’t need such a foundation for me.
I’ve tried to apply this product over multiple primers, mattifying and hydrating bases and even over my non-primed skin but the results were always horrible, just because this foundation isn’t for my skin type.
So, if your skin is like mine, then I will never recommend it for purchasing.
