Color Tattoo 24 Hour by Maybelline have already become a legend, judging by the reviews the most popular one is #40 Permanent Taupe.
I liked it most of all from the whole line of the colors and decided to buy.
This color will be great for green and blue eyes. But in general I can say that it’s versatile, as it’s so popular.

The design
The eyeshadows are in a heavy glass jar with a screw-on top. Now, my packaging looks very weary and scratched. On the back there’s information about the product, including the list of ingredients under the sticker.
The color is very beautiful, it’s really of taupe shade. It’s matte without shimmer. It’s a mixture of grey and brown, depending on the lighting and the thickness of the layer, you can see this or that color. On the eyelids it looks even gray-lilac.
The texture is initially gel-creamy, very pleasant, flexible and melting. The eyeshadows are thick, but can be easily taken with a brush out, as well as with finger, and in both cases, they apply and blend well. Unscented.
Half a year later, the product dried up a bit, but still, it had its great quality. It’s very economical, so you may not use it up before the expiration date. In a year, the texture of these eyeshadows reminds me of plasticine, and it becomes difficult to work with, and it would be much easier to buy a new one.
They absolutely justify the “24 hour” wearing as they promise- not exactly 24 hours, but still they are very long lasting. So it’s logical that, it becomes much more difficult to remove them, than a usual make-up. This product can be removed with a micellar water or a facial cleansers, but not after the first time.
They’re applied on the eyelid well, but dry out very fast, so don’t be too long to blend and touch up your make-up or else it’ll be much more difficult later.
Depending on the thickness of the layer you applied, the eyeshadows show the different color. To get more of the deep and intense color, you need to apply them thicker.
My eyelids are tend to be oily, and with this product applied, they didn't get worse. These eyeshadows stay on the whole day, they don’t crease (maybe only by the end of the day, but not so much), don’t smear and never lose their pigmentation.
A bit later, I came up with the idea to do my eyebrows with that product. At first, I hesitated and thought that the color won’t suit my dark brows but then, when applied it, I saw that the taupe shade was good for me. And considering the lasting power, wow, just perfect!
So, for me Permanent Taupe turned out to be a versatile product, and I’m very delighted with the quality of it. I think I’ll buy it again, as I haven’t found any serious flaws.
