At first let’s brush up what the contouring is.
Contouring is a makeup technique that uses cosmetics to define, enhance and sculpt the structure of the face or other body parts.
Contouring is usually produced by placing a warm or cool toned colour that is one or two shades darker than the skin color in areas such as in the hollows of the cheeks, on the side of the nose, and on the temples to give a shadow and slimming effect. Outer appearance:
I think that this product looks stylish and beautiful. It even resembles a professional make-up product rather than a mass-market one. I appreciate that there are 2 sections in a compact. The first is for powders and the second is for a mirror and a brush. The product is compact and travel-friendly.
Brush:
The brush isn’t of a very good quality since its bristles aren’t at all soft. But, nevertheless I like its shape and size.
Texture:
Texture-wise both products look and felt like a powder or blush. You can even apply it with fingers (if needed)
Spending:
The spending will depend on your complexion and how frequently you use it. If you have fair complexion then one touch of the brush with a product will be enough for you. If you are tanned or swarthy then 2-3 touches. Hence the spending will be bigger.
Staying power:
I’ll say the following: you’ll need to touch up during the day if you are wearing this product, as it doesn’t promise to stay for 24 hours. If you did your make-up in the morning, it’ll fade away by the midday. If you do an evening make-up, then layer this product and it’ll look and stay better.

3. My experience of use MAYBELLINE Master Sculpt.
Contour Powder:
I liked the fact that it’s very subtle and really mimics the shadows of the face. I can create the effect of hollowed cheeks, narrower nose etc.
I apply the Maybelline contour powder on these areas:
1. Cheekbones
2. Forehead. On the hairline to make it look smaller
3. Sides of the nose (to make it look thinner)
4. Down the sides of my face (the most important is not to overdo or I could end up looking like I have a beard)
5. On my neck (making it look thinner)
6. As eyeshadows (sometimes)
Highlighter:
You can either use it, or easily toss it. It totally depends on your preferences. If you ask me - I don’t like the fact that there are too many shimmer particles in this highlighter. But on the other hand, highlighter is a product to highlight some parts of our faces and shine in the sun.
I usually apply it on my cheekbones, under my eyebrow, on the chin and forehead. Sometimes I apply it also to the bridge of my nose but only the tiniest bit, as I don’t want my nose to shine.
I use both of these products as contouring as they consist of both - highlighting and darkening of particular face parts.

4. Conclusion
I like contouring my face with Maybelline Master Sculpt powders. It’s so easy that any girl will cope with it. You don’t need to be a professional make-up artist to learn how to contour. All the schemes are there in the set and the powder texture will help you to master your skills. This compact is aimed at daily contouring.
I recommend this product by Maybelline to those who want to enhance their facial features easily and quickly. The price/quality correlation is good. The spending is low but the effect is visible. Since the product isn’t long-lasting and I have to touch-up, I’ll give it 4 stars.
