You know, I’m a true worshiper of bright eye makeups. And as much as I worship the bright eye makeup, I also hate dark under eye circles. So, when I knew that Maybelline launched their new Fit Me concealer, I couldn’t resist but purchase it. At first, let’s have a look at what the product promises:
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer gives a flawless look that lets the real you come through. It's makeup that doesn't mess with you. No oils. No waxes. No nonsense.
Size: 0.23 oz
Made in France
Expires within 6 month after opening
My shades: 05 - Ivory, 10 - Light, 20 - Sand.
The concealers can be easily found offline and they are pretty affordable. Usually the price is no way higher than $7.
So, let’s have a look at the product in action!
I’ll always keep on saying that Maybelline care about the packaging of their products. Here we can see an absolutely travel-friendly tube. The design is simple yet still beautiful. The applicator is very convenient to use and I want to highlight that one dip of the wand delivers enough of the product for both of my eyes, plus some skin blemishes.
The list of ingredients is also given here on the back of the tube:
Currently I have only three shades of this concealer and these are the swatches of them: Ivory, Light and Sand.
Here you can see the shades in the daylight, and then in the artificial light.
Since my skin is pretty fair, I liked the #05 Ivory shade right away.
Let’s have a test drive for it. First here’s a photo of my non made up skin where you can clearly witness discoloration and minor skin blemishes. Then, there’s a photo with a very lightweight layer of the product over my skin:
I guess you can see for yourself that the Fit Me concealer by Maybelline has very good coverage. I like that it doesn’t make my eye area look overweight at all.
The texture is pretty lightweight, though it gives good coverage at the same time
In general I can say that I’m more than delighted with this product, as using this concealer I can forget about bothering with different products for my under eye area and skin blemishes camouflaging. I have only three shades currently and I guess the difference between #05 and #10 is pretty obvious, even though the concealer adjusts to the skin tone well. If you have a darker skin tone than me, I’d advise you buy both of the shades and mix them together for the perfect match for different parts of your face.
Thanks to the lightweight and liquid texture of the product, you won’t have any difficulties with mixing both shades together.
From the bottom of my heart I want to recommend you these Fit Me Concealers by Maybelline to make sure that they are really irreplaceable!
