Hello!
I’d like to tell you about this interesting product from Maybelline Color Gloss Face Duo Stick
The price is not really cheap and the shape turned out to be inconvenient as well.
PRICE: $10.99
DESIGN:
The design was inspired by the Puma collection. Gentle lilac stick packing, oblique lilac stripe, and acid-red Puma logo. The size is small which ensures it’ll fit into even the smallest purse.
The top cap is see-through. You’ll know what color is waiting for you inside.
Actually, there’s enough of the product to use, 6g. At the same time that’s not much for the price it costs…
It’s featured well but when I use it, the products may still blend together. Usually, it happens with the highlighter. If I take the wrong angle, I end up with my cheeks being stained with a pink stripe.
The top of the stick is convex so mind it when you close it. But it won’t take much time to get used to. :)It twists up well, the mechanism works fine. This is how much of it we have in total:
CONSISTENCY AND THE RESULTS ON MY FACE:
This stick exists in one and only shade #07 Hustle + Burn.
It creates a dewy finish and feels as though melting when comes in contact with my skin. So, one can be easily carried away and apply too much. The color is good and rather natural. At first, I apply it right from the stick and then blend out with my fingers. The blending is great. It doesn’t stick anywhere or crease or clump.
Puma x Maybelline Color and Gloss Face Duo Stick blush accentuates cheekbones with a rosy tint and micro-pearl topper. Achieve a flattering flushed effect topped with a glossy finish and a lightweight formula.
But it isn’t long-wearing… Besides, I feel it like grease on my face for some time. Since my skin is oily, sometimes it even feels terrible on my cheeks. Sometimes it’s okay. Some time later it sets and that feeling disappears.
Also, it can be used as a lightweight lip balm. You can apply it as a blusher or a highlighter and a blusher then.
I love the highlighter. You will see some chunky bits there only if you stare very close. But from a distance, the glow is delicate and gentle.
I also love wearing it over my brow bones. This is when I fell for it.
And with my makeup on. Before and after the use of the stick:
I can also wear it on my lips. It doesn’t dry them out but doesn’t stay on well either.
THE BOTTOM LINE
The idea is interesting and the colors are good. But it’s a problem to use, even though I’ll still keep on.
I guess it’ll be great in winter because of this “dewy” finish it has. While now, when it’s warm, my skin already feels oily. However, I still wear it on my brow bones and only as the highlighter.
The product is travel-friendly because it’s quick and easy to touch-up.
After all, it isn’t as long-wearing as it was promised. But the finish seems so natural.
I think the price is too high for it. But in fact, what else could we expect from a limited edition collection?
I love this stick and will keep on using it. And it’s only up to you to decide whether you need it or not.
Thanks for your attention!
