Today I want to tell you about the new product from Morphe, which is a SPARK highlighter.
I bought it for $14.

The compact is made of plastic:

It’s typical and standard for the branded products.
The quality of the plastic is rather good, I’d even say very good.
The mechanism is thick and of good quality which ensures smooth and handy opening.
The back of the compact has the shade of the highlighter and other product info on it.

It should come as no surprise that almost all the products are manufactured in China nowadays.
Shelf life - 12 months of opening.

Texture, color and smell
The texture of the highlighter is very soft, gentle and silky. This is what happens with the powder when I press it:

If you put your nose straight into the pan, you’ll feel a terrible smell of paint thinner. But when I use it, I don’t detect any aroma at all.
They describe the shade as glimmering golden pink but I can’t see any standing out pink there. Well, maybe just a wash of pink only.

It shines beautifully under lights if you polish it into your skin.
The glow is very delicate and beautiful indeed.

I’ve been using it for more than 2 months and I’ve figured out the following:
The highlighter provides very beautiful and delicate skin finish.
It’s not a problem to pack. I can apply it with a seamless smokey finish as well as bomb everyone with the shimmering glimpse.
I’ve tried applying it with my fingers and brushes. The brush applies it with various finishes. But for the visible “mirror” on your face, apply it with your finger, polishing into your skin well.
The staying power is good. I still can see it on my face even within 11 hours of wearing:

For the time that I’ve been using it, I haven’t noticed any drawbacks about the product. It’s rather good, good quality and lasting highlighter.
However, it costs $14 but in the finish, it resembles the Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter which costs $9.
The price difference is there, however, the products are identical in staying power and quality.
It’s only up to you to decide if the Morphe highlighter is worth splurging.
It’s great but I haven’t made out any specialties about it. I don’t reach for it often after testing it out.
