Today I’m gonna talk about another so-called must have, namely about the creamy concealer from NARS. I’ll describe it from the point of view of an ordinary makeup lover. I own it in the light color Chantilly.
Description:
Ideal for all skin types, Radiant Creamy Concealer is a multi-action formula that instantly masks imperfections, blurs the look of lines and wrinkles, and hides dark circles and signs of fatigue. The botanical blend hydrates, firms, reduces redness, and strengthens the look of skin by helping its barrier retain moisture. Light-diffusing technology evens out the complexion so that skin appears fresh and natural with a radiant finish. It also delivers antioxidant protection to help shield skin against damaging free radicals.

A comparison with the Nars Soft Matte Concealer in Creme Brule.
The Radiant Creamy Concealer seems thick and highly pigmented. At the same time, it’s easy to blend. I prefer to apply concealers in dots and blend it out with a brush, wet sponge or fingers.
I can totally see how great it covers under eye circles and skin imperfections. Plus, the lasting power is impressive. But what I absolutely hate is the tightness I feel in that area during the day and even after taking it off. Also, this concealer emphasizes even tiny wrinkles and even if it’s applied in a thin layer. I can hardly imagine what it feels like to wear it in a thick coat and with a face powder over it.
Makeup:
Yes, this concealer is long-lasting and highly pigmented, but I can’t forgive it for drying out my skin and making me look older. This is exactly the case when I don’t get the hype around it.
