Recently I discovered that my skin bears well matte foundations. I was so impressed with the matte Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation (here’s the link).
At the presentation of the new NYX product, bloggers from my city were presented with this foundation. This way, 5 new tubes turned out to be residents of my collection.
Since I wasn’t dreading the matte finish anymore, I gave this Can’t Stop Won’t Stop product a go with great pleasure.
Let’s find everything out?
Packaging- It’s a see-through tube with a see-through top cap. The see-through tube is an excellent idea so I can control the amount of the product left inside.
The see-through top cap is a bad idea because it always looks dirty and stained with the product.
The size is standard - 30 ml.
Shades- I think that the shade Nude flatters my skin tone the most. It’s more yellow-toned.
I wish it was less yellow but once I apply it and blend out, it doesn’t look so obviously yellow anymore. So, that’s okay for me.
I also want to show you three more shades (the fifth one is Alabaster, and it quickly found its way to my sister’s, who is fair-skinned, so the color line-up does have a wide color selection).
From the left to the right - Nude, Natural, Neutral Buff, Medium Buff.
Texture- The product is like a thick gel texture-wise. Fragrance-free.

My impressions of use
It’s an insanely long-wearing foundation!
Its coverage is super high and I think that it can replace your concealer with ease. It is a little bit tricky to blend out over my skin, here I have to use either a spoon-like brush or the RT sponge.
This foundation is thick and perfect for photo shoots and special events. So, it may be detectable over the skin. However, I’ve been using it every day for a week and a half and can say that it may be invisible if I blend the coverage thoroughly.
Matte finish.
Setting within 10 minutes.
It doesn’t require any additional face powder setting or anything.
I can assume that it does define flaking skin though it smoothes out my skin texture at the same time so nicely.
So, the product is perfect for combo and oily skin types.
The lasting power is till the moment I remove it. It doesn’t break up or budge throughout the wear.
