I’ve already forgotten the times when I used to use brow pencils to shape my brows. I just don’t like them. It’s so difficult to find a really worthy eyebrow pencil that will leave pigment and stain not only on my hairs but my skin as well without making it look patchy. For some years I was using brow powder shadows and was pretty delighted with them. But I have to confess and say that I keep buying brow pencil as I do believe that I'll manage to find one that will look great on my eyebrows. But the reality is cruel. I keep buying brow pencils and all of them are of such a bad quality that I have nothing to do but to give them to my mum (she isn’t picky and likes almost any product that I present to her). And you can’t even imagine how surprised I was when I bought the NYX Eyebrow Powder Pencil, gave it a go, and fell in love with the result it showed!
The pencil itself is rather long.
On the one side it has pencil slate and on the other, a spoolie brush for combing and blending.
I bought the lighter shade of the pencil on purpose, as I have a darker eyebrow gel and when I wear them together they look stunning. But in this review I’ll show you only the pencil solo on my brows for my review to be fair.

My experience with the NYX Eyebrow Powder Pencil
This pencil is the best that I’ve ever tried. It glides on my skin and hairs beautifully, gives good coverage and makes my brows look defined and bright. And the result in the end looks very natural, by the way!
The pencil is soft. The pigment sits on the surface of the skin and doesn’t get into creases or pores. It sits neatly on my brows. It takes me no more than 2 minutes to shape my brows with this product.
I have already told you that a different color of the product was chosen on purpose, as I want to wear it with a darker in shade brow gel. But I think that this very color ESPRESSO will suit blondes and red-haired girls.
The product is fine for blending. I usually do it with a spoolie brush that is at the end of the pencil. I like the way it blends the pigment making my brows look very natural.
The staying power is the best of the best! It stays on for the entire working day and that’s all that I need from any brow pencil.
