Recently, the NYX Corner appeared in my city! I can remember how excited I was waiting for it to open. And since it has opened, I bought some long desired products. The first ones were liquid lipstick and a concealer.
Color: №09 Tea & Cookies
Size: 4 ml
Made in China
It’s made of a good quality plastic and closes tightly. Nothing leaks and the letters don’t fade.
The applicator is quite long, soft with wedged bristle.
The product itself.
My color is very girlish and frivolous. It completely justifies its name, with it the only thing that needed with it - is to arrange a puppet tea party with cookies
In different lights it can have either warm or cold undertones. Once applied, the color looks very bright, but as it dries, it becomes more wearable.
The scent is usual, cosmetic, I’m a bit upset that it doesn’t smell like sweets. It’s so strange, as some NYX product have a very good scent, and some smell really off-putting.
So, what are the characteristics of the product?
I met such product for the first time. Liquid Suede is the best word combination that can describe this product . At first, it applies with a glossy thick layer and you need to try not to get your teeth stain with it. And in a few moments it dries and turns into an even, velvet finish.
Here, I’ve just applied it, so you can see the glossy shine.
And here, it dried a bit.
Here, it’s applied in one layer, and as you can see, the coverage is quite thick.
The lipstick lasts long, if you don’t eat or drink, so it’ll stay with you for the whole day.
And I want to say a few words about its disadvantages. That was my first experience with a liquid lipstick, and I wonder whether it’s okay that it cracks while smiling.
I have an impression that with it applied, I can’t smile. And I didn't even say anything about snacks. It imprints on dishes, although it still stays on the lips, but cups will be stained.
Overall, I‘m delighted with it. I’m glad that it isn’t patchy, it doesn’t crease, and all-in-all, my make-up looks more professional-like.
Thanks for your attention!
