It's time to put aside all the burgundy and dark lipsticks, and take out all the bright ones.
This summer I’m going to wear a wonderful lipstick by NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP in the LIQUID SUEDE CREAM line in the shade Life's a Beach.
Matte lipsticks (especially by NYX) are still very popular. To be trendy is very easy, the most important is to choose your suitable color.
That vigorous-pinky shade is contrary to all expectations:
1) applies very easily from the first time
2) isn’t very dry and very comfortable to wear
And now let’s talk about some details:
The packaging is very nice. And the most important is that the color of the lipstick and its tube coincide. Because it happens sometimes that the tube can be of very beautiful pink color, but inside the lipstick is coral or even red. On the swatch you can see the color as it is.
The scent isn’t as great as in legendary Soft Matte collection. At first, I was a bit worried that the lipstick contains fragrance, but fortunately it doesn’t. The application of the lipstick became 100 times easier, as the manufacturer made the applicator thinner and feather-edged so it can be used even without lip pencil. Because of its thick consistency, you can use the lipstick without a primer or lip scrub.
The stopper is great, as it doesn’t let take out too much on the applicator’s tip.
The coverage isn’t 100% matte. It’s got a very slight shine (not glitter, not shimmer, of course).
It doesn’t make my lips look dry: my lips look vivid and full of moisture. That’s why, I think it leaves spots on the glasses. Though, the lasting effect is still great, I can eat, drink and the lipstick won’t fade.

There are some ingredients that take care of the lips like,
carnauba wax, kaolin, avocado oil, olive oil, vitamin E,
which help my lips not to get dried. The lipstick is very creamy and soft. It has a velvet finish. And taking into the consideration all this information, I can see why it isn’t matte.

I want to save my lipstick until it gets very warm, as I can already see a great look: jeans or leather jacket, white sneakers or gumshoes and the accent note with this lipstick on my lips.
