Most of all (I mean small things, not something global) I love the scent of coconut, fresh strong tea with no sugar and the color of violet, in all its shades, forms and situations. I even have a small rule: “If out of 10 things you need to buy one and they are all beautiful, and you don’t know which one to buy, pick out the purple one. As you can understand, I’ve been looking for a violet lipstick for a very long time. and when I met it, I just couldn't walk away without it.
So, meet NYX LIQUID SUEDE in the color AMETHYST.
When I was choosing which one to buy, there were two colors of violet in the collection. But the second SWAY, judging by swatches, seemed too light, dollish and even making my lips paler. So I chose the darker Amethyst color.
Visually I liked all of the collection - fatty, long tubes, the color of which exactly coincided with the color of the product inside.
Seriously, exactly the same. And no patchiness, there are a lot of the pigment.
The product says:
TEXTURE: creamy,
FINISH: matte/velvet
Doll up your lips in plush and vibrant color! Our Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick glides on and sets into a striking matte finish. Now available in 12 more velvety-soft shades, this waterproof lippie creates a positively polished look with every swipe.
How to apply:
You can apply it without pencil as the product can create straight and even line with the help of applicator.
Good for your skin:
carnauba wax, kaolin, avocado oil, olive oil, vitamin E.
I think that a lot is exaggerated (At least besides healthy oils there are a lot of unhealthy ingredients which aren’t listed on the site. However, what do we want from a purple lipstick), but I’ll tell you about this below.
The lipstick texture isn’t at all creamy. It’s liquid, but it doesn’t flow out of the lip contour. The applicator is good - firm, but at the same time not with scratchy a surface, which can really help to apply the lipstick evenly.
The finish isn’t totally matte (only if you dab it with a tissue a bit), otherwise you’ll need to wait for 2 hours to get it completely matte.
Applied a swatch.
In 3 minutes.
And dabbed with a tissue. What did they say about the long-lasting effect?
On my lips it’s much better.
After the appliance, the finish is wet, but the product doesn’t flow out of the edges. Of course I don’t want to tell anything about long-lasting.
And the make up looks. In the photo without a photo flash it’s almost black.
Applied lipstick.
I waited for 5-7 minutes (the lipstick dried a it)
Dubbed with a tissue (if you don't do that, the product will stay on cups). It may seem that these spots will be left everywhere you touch and endlessly long, but no - after one dab with tissue, the lipstick looks and stays great.
This is how my lips look after the tissue.
In this state, when the excess is removed, the lipstick will stay in good condition for several hours (an average of 3-4) and look almost matte. A snack of something low-fat or a cup of tea it will stand easily, but after fatty food (meat, soup, something like this) will surely fade in the middle.
For me, it’s a disadvantage (I want to stay my lipstick firmly for a long time), and super-matte lipsticks dry out my lips very much, so in the result I’ve got very beautiful, but super dry lips. I’d say that I love it more, when the lipstick isn’t so lasting, and at the same time quite comfortable.
I washed it off by different means: upper lip - micellar water.
Lower lip - two phase cleanser.
In both cases the product washed away very easily. And I’m not actually surprised, as the lasting effect isn’t very good. It doesn’t dry out my lips, which is very good.
I’ll give it 7 aubergines out of ten, and I recommend it to those who like me, absolutely rave about everything violet and love lipsticks in general.
