Hello cosmetics lovers!
The time has come for me to write a review of my favourite eyeshadows by NYX. I use them everyday. And I can’t even imagine how I lived without these two babes before.
Before I discovered these eyeshadows I used to use an eyeliner a lot. But you know, the NYX brand has turned my understanding of makeup upside down. I used to wear no makeup at all but now I like it and wear it all the time. I appreciate the NYX brand for the quality of the products they make. I can easily do my makeup in the morning and don’t have to touch up at all during the day.
So, let’s get started and finally review my faves. They are called Nude Matte Shadow.

My first eyeshadows by NYX ever were grabbed by my girl-friends and sisters and I had to buy again for me.
Currently I have two very universal and versatile shades which are great for the morning as well as evening makeup looks.
So, the first one is NMSS 19 - Haywire. It’s such an incredible color, something between brown and lilac. It’ll complement any eye and skin color. If you are a newbie in the world of makeup, you should definitely buy this shade as it’s very soft and easy to work with.
The second is NMSS 02- Stripped. It’s a very intense saturated black color. I’d advise you to apply this shade with a smaller brush to avoid dusting.
If you have oily eyelids then I’d advise you to use an eyeshadow primer, as these products will look and hold good on oily lids. Moreover, an eyeshadow primer will let your makeup stay put longer and look brighter.
The products are mildly scented. But I feel this scent only if I put the product pan under my nose. During application, I don’t feel it at all.
Both products are very easy to blend. And of course they look stunning on the eyes.
By the way, these are the shades I actually learned to do the smokey eyes with. Before that I was almost desperate to master this technique.
These eyeshadows are very soft and comfortable while wear. I especially like wearing them with a nude pink lipstick.
