Hello there🌹
Do you love makeup? As for me, I can’t live without it. But more than makeup I love only bright makeup.
I love it when my eyes are popping and eyelashes are so voluminous! That’s why I buy a lot of eyeshadows, I mean seriously a lot!
In this review, I want to tell you about a dope eyeshadow single from NYX from the Prismatic collection in the shade #15 Savage.
🎀What’s so special about it? Thanks to its special texture and pigmentation, you can achieve any makeup look that you want. If you’re tired of sameness, then just take your eyeshadow brush and create something cool.
By the way, if you’re working with such textures, you won’t necessarily need brushes. But I’ll speak about it a little lower.
📌Let’s have a look at the product’s characteristics:
Weight: 1.24g
Made in China
Texture: pressed powder eyeshadow
Price: $4.20-6.00
📌Product description: Dazzle your eyes in kaleidoscope color with our glistening Prismatic Eyeshadows--now available in 12 new brilliant shades. Mix and match these lustrous hues to achieve a spectrum of sparkling eye looks in seconds.
Then I’ll post the list of ingredients for those who can make out something from it or those who are just interested what we apply on our eyes. Or maybe there are some of you who are sensitive or allergic to this or that component.
Magnesium Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Nylon-12, Octyldodecanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol. MAY CONTAIN / PEUT CONTENIR (+/-): Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Carmine (CI 75470), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510).
🎀Some words about the packaging:
It’s small and plastic. By the way, the plastic is rather cheesy and flimsy. In general, it’s okay because this cute bow on the closure saves the situation design-wise. It makes the compact look sophisticated and so girlish.
The shiny part seems beautiful but actually, over time, it becomes the main issue of the packaging because even the tiniest scratch is so visible. Maybe someone won’t even notice it, but for me, the aesthetics of the packaging is so important.
The back of the single gives all the product info.

🎀Shade: Here, it’s really complicated and deep. So blue and mysterious. You can see bright cerulean here, which shines beautifully in the sun, attracting attention.
On the other hand, there’s a gray-black base visible, which is so friendly when it comes to blending, especially if you’re planning to do smokey eyes with it.

🎀Quality of the product: Even though the product is bright and rather vibrant, the texture here is still dry. Some shimmer bits may fall out, so you have to be very careful applying it. As for the wear time, it’s solid, especially if you use a base.
As for the base and primers, they can be different and I’ll tell you about them right now.
🎀Over nude skin:
In fact, the product applies well and even the color payoff seems nice, however, the texture calls for some creamy base for a better clinging and color kickback.
The product requires something underneath for the best pigmentation: either an eyeshadow base, foundation, concealer or even glitter glue. It doesn’t even play a role in what you apply. The most important thing is to apply something underneath.
🎀 The product over a base:
For instance, if you use a dark base beforehand, then the color will look its best. By the way, the shade is vibrant and it won’t be distorted by any other colors anyway. It’ll be a good option for those who are into brightly colored eyeshadow bases. As for me, I’m not impressed with such results.
🎀Brush application over a primer:
I used a flat natural-bristle brush for application. And I was surprised when I saw the result.
The shade applies well and it feels like it sticks to my skin. Though, I still believe that it’s the primer’s job.
Such shades usually work out their best if they are applied with synthetic brushes. And considering that even a natural brush applied it bearable, you can choose any brush of your liking and will get an astonishing outcome in the end.
🎀Fingertip application over a primer:Well, this way the color packs divine. So pigmented. I’m always into a fingertip tool application of eyeshadows when it’s possible. The color payoff is so insane then.
🎀 Now I want to show you the blending of the color.
They advise us to apply the product as neat as possible because the outcome finish will be tricky to blend out.
And I don’t agree with it. The product blends out with ease, even if you didn’t apply it neatly. At least in my case, it works like that.
As you can see, there are some color splotches left after the brush, but then I blended everything out with a more fluffy brush. Moreover, I used a golden shade over my inner corners and they also worked out well together.
this eyeshadow blends into dark shade so nicely
🎀Staying powerI can’t be picky here. It’s awesome. But only in case you use a primer beforehand. Then you can be sure that your eyeshadow won’t fall out or crease.
📌The good:
amazing shade
impressive staying power
you can wear it with a colorful base as well as without it
no negative reaction from my eyes
easy to wash off with micellar water
fantastic blending
you can apply it with your fingertip as well as with brushes

📌The bad Thanks for your attention! 🌷🌷🌷
