There is nothing easier than to edit a picture in photoshop and download it to your Instagram page after that. But what can I do if I want to look like a superstar in reality...or at least like a girl with good skin?

Foundation primers are there for you. Today I’d like to tell you about one of them, namely about NYX #NOFILTER BLURRING PRIMER…

Shade: 01

Price: $15

SUITABLE FOR: every skin type

Inspired by one of today’s most popular hashtags, our new #NoFilter Blurring Primer is destined to be one of your faves. With its light-as-air feel and silky-smooth texture, this creamy primer formula preps you and your beautiful face for selfie greatness!

Ah… the idea is so cool!

Right off the bat, the price is hefty. $15 for 30 ml is too much for me taking into account that quite a lot of the product is required to cover my thin and not at all big face.

So, the product is overpriced in my book. However, you don’t have to use this primer every day. If I use it for photoshoots, some parties and holidays only, namely 1-2 times per year, then it’ll last forever…

The packaging is cool as always. It’s sleek and convenient to use.

Here is a tamper-proof sticker:

And a good nozzle that gives the right amount of the product:

The texture is light as air… It is somewhat silicone and greasy, to which any foundation or powder applies well.

The primer spreads out with my fingers, brush and sponge well… As for me, I prefer applying with my fingers to save the product.

Before opening the tube I was sure that this primer is transparent, but I was wrong.

The product has a beige texture with a hint of yellow. It gives a nice color to my skin actually.

At the beginning, the primer can look a little bit yellowish, but it can adjust to your skin tone:

Yes, it’s not a foundation, but:

  • it evens out my skin

  • conceals some redness

My face is not at all perfect. I have dry patches, pimples and post acne scars…

This primer makes my skin look decent. Sometimes I don’t even use a foundation after that...

NYX Nofilter blurring primer is a good product. It’s not suitable for everyday use, however, because you saw the list of ingredients. Additionally, it doesn’t make my skin look so photoshopped as advertised. But:

  1. it evens out my skin tone

  2. covers up some redness

  3. makes my makeup last longer

  4. makes my skin look beautiful

By the way, this primer can also be used as:

  • lipstick base

  • eyeshadow primer

I can’t say anything about the influence on my pores, as I don’t use this product daily. Plus, I wash it off with some efficient makeup removers.

So, it hasn’t caused any problems in my case. If you wear it every day and don't cleanse your skin properly, then you’ll probably have them due to such ingredients…

This primer doesn’t make my face look photoshopped but the result is still quite decent!

As for the cons again: The product doesn’t go a long way and the price is too hefty.

I would recommend this primer to those who need such a product in their makeup bag!
