Hello there!
I have my NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream in the color PPL05 - Teenage dream - it’s such a vibrant and hot fuchsia shade.
The package is made of matte cardboard, it was sealed at both sides, which is here to make sure that no one has ever opened it before you. On the box you’ll find all the product info, including the color name.
The tube itself is made of a thin soft plastic which is very ergonomic in my hands. Under a screw cover there’s a small furry sponge-applicator.
To get the product come out you should press the tube a little.
At first I was disappointed with this color. The thing is that I don’t actually like such barbie shades, you know. But once I swatched it, I quickly fell for this lippie. The product is bright and pink, but thanks to the powder finish, it doesn’t look doll-ish at all.
The color seems to be muted. I don’t know how to put it right. The applicator is nice to vary the vibrancy of the color, make it look either bright when packing the coverage, or lightweight if you apply it with one layer.
By the way, this lipstick is fantastic for such a trendy ombre effects on my lips. And the powder finish made me absolutely raving about this lipstick. I’ve never seen such a lipstick finish before.
The NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream is pleasant to wear, it feels like a lightweight souflett which has such a beautiful sweet aroma. I don’t feel it present on my lips at all, because the texture isn’t sticky.
If you want, you can easily get the kissed lips effect.
It isn’t that classic matte lipstick. This one doesn’t set completely and has a rather lively finish. But it doesn’t mean that it bleeds or feathers. It gives a semi-matte and semi-glossy finish at the same time. Yes, it’s a very complicated and unconventional combination.
As for me, well this lippie will be a must-have for summer color- and finish-wise. I’m also planning to buy a few more colors.
