Today I decided to tell you about this foundation, which has left mixed feelings and to be honest I don’t even know how to rate it.
It's all about the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation.
The foundation comes in a cardboard box, which is sealed with a protective film, which is nice, you can be sure that no one has tried it out before you.
The foundation itself is in a glass bottle with a pipette made of rubber, which is very pleasant to the touch.
In my opinion, it looks really expensive.
The bottle itself is small, I’d even say, tiny, unlike most other foundations.
The volume is 13 ml.
The pipette helps conserve the foundation.

The line is simply amazing and contains 24 shades!
My bottle 05 Light / Clair. It was a bit too light for me though, I’d have preferred something more pink.
The formula is very liquid, the foundation feels runny on my face. Therefore, the manufacturer recommends that you do not use a beauty blender with this foundation, since it would soak up the foundation and very soon you would run out of it.
Made in China
I use a brush for the application, and in the end I just remove the excess with a wet sponge.
Let's take a look at the result?
My skin is far from perfect, I have redness and other imperfections.
I apply the foundation directly to the skin from the pipette, sometimes on the hand and then transfer it onto the skin, but if the foundation is applied directly onto the skin, it’s more economical and blendable. And again: the formula is really runny.
The foundation is applied on one side of my face, and you can see that it’s a bit too light for me.
And the photos above show that the foundation provides a good coverage, conceals tiny bruises and redness and seems to be perfect!
It feels comfortable on my face.
What's wrong, then?!
The first time I wore it, my skin was a bit oily without any flaking, but later it started to dry and peel due to the cold weather and so I began to notice that something was wrong. The foundation was making the flaking more visible, plus it started settling into pores, even though I applied it in a thin layer.
Therefore, this foundation is not suitable for any skin. It would go only for those with perfect skin.
But I really like the coverage! If you don’t look at it close up, it looks really great and provide perfect even skintone.
Also I am pleased with its durability, it stays put all day and doesn’t oxidize.
It comes off easily with face foaming cleansers and causes no pimples.
To summarize, I want to say that, first of all, it’s really overpriced. They could have really made the bottle bigger.I certainly understand that it looks cool, but still. And secondly, if your skin tends to flake and dry, then do not even think about buying this foundation, otherwise it will make all the tiny flaking stand out. But if you have smooth skin without dryness, it will make it more even and hide redness.
Thank you for reading my review!
See you soon
