Hello beautiful ladies! Smile

I have rather complicated relationships with the Physician's Formula brand. I was impressed with their bronzer, but I was repelled with their eyeshadows. This is why I was taking this Physician's Formula The Healthy Foundation with a pinch of salt. But, taking the ball before the bound I have to confess that I was pleasantly surprised with this product!

The design is sleek, yet utterly interesting and stylish. The tube is a heavy glass with a plastic top cap. Nothing cracks or scratches. The letters are still here.

Size - 30ml.

Made in the USA.

Expires within 12 months of opening.

The foundation comes with a big and furry applicator. It reminds me of the application from the Tarte Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation size- and shape-wise.

The sponge is convenient to apply the product. However, I don’t think that it’s sanitary.

But no matter how beautiful the packaging seems to be, still there are some cons to it as well. The bottle is too heavy and bulky. Besides, the top cap is always stained with the formula. I know that it’s subjective, but I value cleanness when it comes to my cosmetics, so for me it's a disadvantage.

The foundation is creamy and gel-like texture-wise. It’s also lightweight. The coverage seems to be light to medium with a build-able formula. The sponge or brush application ensures the easiest blending. It’ll be pretty challenging to apply the product with your fingers, in my opinion.

It has a characteristic smell of liquor candies. There are definitely some confectionery notes to it. The aroma is mild, by the way. It doesn’t linger on my skin.

My shade LN3 seems to be fair. I venture to suggest that LN means Light Neutral. But if your complexion is fair, this shade will look dark over it. To top it off, the product offers yellow undertones.

So now, to the most important. How does the product look over my skin?

My main problems are pores (they aren’t enlarged, but still visible), blackheads, red spots, and uneven skin tone.

I use the provided sponge to apply the product. It doesn’t set right off, so you’ll have time to blend it out. This foundation applies super evenly! It doesn’t show off my pores or flakey skin yet at the same time it does even out my complexion, The finish looks semi-matte, which is so natural and lovely. My skin is of normal type and the product stays on for about 8-9 hours. After that it starts fading from my nose, chin and between the brows.

The T-zone shine comes within 3-5 hours. It depends on the powder I use to set my makeup.

This is how my foundation looks in a selfie.

This Physician's Formula The Healthy Foundation made me glad, and I can even dare to say I’ve fallen for it! Currently this is my go-to foundation for daily wear, because it’s easy to apply, it ensures enough coverage for me and of course the staying power is great.

Even though they claim the product flatters all the skin types, I still deem that it’ll be better for normal/combo/oily shine prone skin types more.

Price: $14

Thanks for your attention! Have a pleasant shopping day! Wink
