Hello there!
I’ve heard about this brand a lot from beauty bloggers. And all of them have that popular Butter Bronzer among their faves. But somehow, I just didn’t have a chance to meet those products myself.
Until one day when I visited a local beauty store and saw the brand’s stand there. Actually the brand isn’t a problem to find in my city, I just decided to restrain myself with cosmetic purchases for a while. Of course after browsing through the stand I needed to buy something and I actually took this Organic Wear mascara. So, today I’ll talk about it with you.
So first, a few words about the Physician's Formula brand.
Physicians Formula is a cosmetic brand, which was established in 1937, by Dr. Frank Crandall, an eminent allergist. He created one of the earliest beauty line productsin North America and has over the yearschanged the face of cosmetics industry, the world over.
Physicians Formula brand has come to be associated with some of the finest and latest products in skin care, makeup, nail care, eye care and more. It is made especially for sensitive skin. Physicians Formula has become, somewhat of an expert, in the field of bringing color correction, to the women consumers.
So, the brand claims to infuse organic and natural components into their beauty products. The company is also cruelty-free, i.e they don’t test on animals at all. Let’s come back to the mascara.
It comes in only one color - black.
Weight: 7.5g
Made in the USA
The shelf life of a sealed pack is 2 years.
Price: $6-7
I was hooked on the outer appearance of the mascara! The package looks like a leaf and in my opinion, that’s very cute!
I also liked the brush of the product. It’s silicone and convenient. It grabs all the lashes, covering them with the formula. And the most important thing for me is that it gives separation!
I’m absolutely negative to the “spider legs” effect on the lashes, and yet there are still many mascaras that give such results.
The color of the formula isn’t coal-black, you can see it yourself.
The manufacturer claims that the ingredients are natural here, so let’s have a look:
Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Fruit Water*, Glycerin+, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cera Alba*, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Copernicia Cerifera Cera*, Tapioca Starch*, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Stearic Acid, Jojoba Esters, Oryza Sativa Powder*, Oryza Sativa Extract*, Ceiba Pentandra Fiber Powder, Cellulose, Nylon-10/10, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract*, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract*, Glycine Soja Oil*, Olea Europaea Leaf Extract*, Glycerin, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Aqua, Glyceryl Caprylate, Leuconostoc Ferment Filtrate, Leuconostoc / Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, CI 77499.
Well, the ingredients are really natural! Here you can see orange and jojoba extracts, as well as cucumber and aloe vera. I don’t know how they can affect my lashes, but if those ingredients are able to make them look better, I agree! But in any case, I’m glad that I can use this product without any negative thinking back. Maybe those components are the staple fact why the mascara smells of something plant-packed and pleasant.
What effect do they promise:
1st EVER mascara with 100% natural origin lash extension fibers for the full-on fringe of false lashes without irritation. Innovative formula amplifies lash volume, length & curl. Oversized brush creates a fabulously false lash effect instantly!
Well, let’s see! I applied the mascara on my curled lashes and here’s the effect I got.
Here I applied the mascara with two layers. You can build-up its coverage and be sure that your lashes won’t stick together.
Only after the purchase I decided to read reviews of this product and found out that some people think that the formula of the mascara is too dry. Well, fair enough I should say. But still, there’s a good side in it for me too. You see, when I take the brush out, there aren’t any splashes of mascara or residue left on the rims of the tube.
As for the effects, well, the manufacturer was too careless when promised the “full-on fringe of false lashes”. I haven’t noticed such a result for sure, I can see good separation but no volume at all. What’s the secret of falsies? Of course the volume!
For example, I used to think that I have good lashes which are thick and I didn’t even need to use a mascara. Even now I forget to use it from time to time. And that’s my laziness to blame here. I’m too lazy to bother with my makeup. One more advantage of this mascara is that it’s pretty easy to wash off. It’s some kind of an advantage and disadvantage in one, you know. Water is the main enemy of this mascara.
❤️❤️❤️
In a nutshell I must say that I liked this product. I use it a lot and enjoy the effect of separated lashes! But of course I take off one star for the false promises of the manufacturer. If your lashes are naturally thin and fair, then you won’t probably see any Wow effect. If you like drama on your lashes, then this mascara is too weak for you then. I like this Physician’s Formula mascara and currently it’s my everyday wear go-to product!
That’s it and thanks a million for your attention!
