Physician's Formula Super CC Color-Correction + Care CC Powder - review

Hey there!

In summer we need particular protection from UV rays. I have fair skin, so I always purchase makeup protected with high SPF.

I have combination skin which is prone to getting oily, so some specific products usually clog my pores and eliminate the possibility to apply makeup further on. But I can’t do without a powder in the summertime, because my skin gets oily so quickly!

What can I do? Purchase the powder with high SPF!

In addition, I purchase not just a powder, but a CC (Color Correcting) powder!

What does CC means?

CC powder visibly transforms your complexion with color-correcting pigments that instantly help correct uneven skin tone, imperfections, discoloration, and visible signs of aging.

Yellow corrects blue imperfections and warms skin tone. Green tones down redness. Pink brightens and illuminates.

Anti-aging brighteners restore a look of radiance and smoothness. SPF 30 protects from UVA/UVB rays.

Visibly Corrects: Age Spots, Dark Circles, Blemishes, Dullness, Uneven Skin Tone, Redness, Dark Shadows, Discoloration, Fine Lines, Wrinkles and Signs of Fatigue.

How do these color-correcting pigments actually look like?

There is quite a lot of them in the package, but no worries- they are absolutely undetectable on skin! They perform really well.

Even though the shade looks yellow-orange in a pan, it is different in reality.

• The texture is incredibly gentle, light and silky.

• It has a satin finish that gives a beautiful and delicate glow.

• Weight: 8.5g.

By the way, the packaging is not that simple. You can find a mirror and a brush of a pretty exceptional form in the bottom compartment. But I prefer using a rounded and tightly packed Kabuki brush.

My experience:

It’s not dusty when applying, which means that the product is tightly pressed.

As I’ve already mentioned, I apply it with a tightly bound Kabuki brush.

The coverage is lightweight and even, but it disguises all skin imperfections like enlarged pores, some redness or uneven skin perfectly.

The picture is unfiltered. Please pay particular attention to the color of my face and my cheeks, where I have the largest pores.

• The staying power is about 6-7 hours. After that my skin gets an oily sheen that I remove either by washing my makeup off or with mattifying tissues. Then I reapply it.

Attention! If you want to use the powder as a sunscreen, I recommend you reapply it every 2 hours!

• It’s not water resistant and easy to wash off with usual water.

• It doesn’t clog my pores, even if I forget using some mattifying tissues.

• A little goes a long way.

My overall thoughts (5 reasons to purchase this powder):

1. This is a multitasking product that helps correct my blemishes easily.

2. Mattifies my skin for quite a while.

3. Has a satin finish that doesn’t make my skin totally matte or flat.

4. Covers up my enlarged pores.

5. Has SPF! Rest assured that your skin won’t get older or sunburnt due to harmful sun rays.
