Bonjour, Mademoiselle!

I want to share with you some of my thoughts about the new product on the marker- Rimmel Skin Fresher. I bought it without any further ado. I tried to be as unbiased as possible while testing this product, so my review is absolutely honest and objective.

Rimmel Fresher Skin foundation SPF 15

Let’s start.

The product is packed in a glass jar with a plastic cap. It’s rather heavy and stands well on any surface. But, the disadvantage of this packaging is obvious: it can be easily smashed with your hand and turned over.

The jar neck is big, but there’s a membrane which protects the foundation beneath. With time, I noticed that this membrane isn’t sealed tightly to the jar, so some of the product can still come out. I notice it when I open the membrane and see that there’s a tad of product leaking out. But the greatest disadvantage is that there’s no spoon to take the product out. I hate it when I have to do it with my fingers. Of course, I can do it with a brush, but there’s always too much of the product that sits on the brush. And, it’s better not to think about the hygiene at all. If you know that your skin is reactive to such non-hygienic packagings, I think it’ll be better to toss this product.

The consistency of the product is gelly, bouncy and very light. When I apply it on my skin, it feels as though I apply some deeply moisturizing cream. I like it very much, as my skin feels so fresh and comfortable.

The aroma is pleasant and fresh. I like the herb notes in it.

I chose the fairest color in the line 100-Ivory and wasn’t wrong with it. I was a bit surprised when I saw the pinkish-yellow undertones in it, which wasn’t too explicit, by the way. That’s why, it adjusts to my skin tone very well. For any foundation product not to oxidate, I apply some transparent powder on my face.

You need to be quick to apply and spread this foundation on your face. I do it with the duo-fiber brush. The product dries out really quickly. So don’t let the streaks dry out, as they’ll be impossible to blend.

The finish isn’t glowy, it’s more satin. The product doesn’t glow, just makes my skin look healthy. It sets very quickly and doesn’t oxidize. It covers all my imperfections well. I can’t say that the coverage is light, it’s medium for me. It can be layered to get a better and thicker coverage. This product doesn’t show flaking.

The lasting power is great! I was wearing it for more than 12 hours and nothing happened with this foundation! Certainly it didn’t look so fresh, but still it looked decent. So, if you are looking for some long-lasting, but lightweight foundation, I advise you to pay attention to this.

It’ll suit dry as well as normal skin! As for oily, I’m not so sure, as the product isn’t matte.

It looks really good on my face. I’ll show you the photo below.

Nt Wh: 25 ml

Price: $7.99

In the end, I don’t know whether I should recommend it or not. I don’t understand if I like it it not. It’s neutral for me, but I think you should give it a go.

Thanks for reading my review! Smile

Stay always beautiful!
