I don’t like wearing makeup, but I can’t get by without a mascara (because naturally I'm deprived of beautiful and thick eyelashes).
And even though there are a lot of people saying that all the mascaras are the same and it’s a great makeup segment to save money on, for me it isn’t actually true. I don’t like makeup in general, but I splurge my money on good mascaras with a great pleasure. We all know that a mascara may flake off or get smudged with no reason as well as transfer on the under eyes. Honestly, I tried to save my money on mascaras and I always used to end up having trash lashes.
This time I decided to give a go to a waterproof mascara. I didn’t want my eyes to look black because of the rain or snow, you know.
And this mascara has turned out to be rather ambivalent for me.
It’s waterproof and beautiful and it does make my lashes look visually thicker and longer. But it also makes them look clumped and of course there’s no need to mention the volume. The product make my lashes clump together. To top it off, the product has an inconvenient brush. It's really huge. For me, the size of the brush plays a part. This very brush takes out too much of the formula and distributes it really badly.
I’ve been using this mascara for two months and it has already become thick. And I think that it’s okay, since the product expires within 3 months after opening.
Besides there’s enough of the formula inside - 8 ml and it goes a long way I should say. Usually I use up any mascara within 3 months, but this one seems to be lasting longer.
The letters from the tube has already started to disappear slowly.
The product stayed on till the evening and lived through snow flurries
This mascara isn’t bad. If not that brush I’d say that it’s good and convenient to use. But here, the brush doesn’t allow me to coat my lashes beautifully because it clumps a lot. If I apply more than 2 coats, then I end up with my lashes looking terrible. I’m still planning to buy some other mascaras by the brand, but I’m sure to buy a waterproof mascara by some other brand. (and all that because of the brush, yes).
