Hello, pretties!
If you follow Insta or YouTube bloggers, then I’m sure that you’ve already heard of the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara. For a long time I was really willing to test it out and here I got a chance. I’ll tell you all the deets of this product today.
The full sized product has a really unique package - leather case with a snake print on it. The mini-trial size is made of plastic though it’s still no way less beautiful than its bigger sister.
The product comes with one color only - black. Also, there’s a waterproof version available.
The brush is classy and innovative frills-free. The bristles are long to some extent, which will be cherished by ones who have plain and regular lashes.
The consistency is creamy. The brush picks up a lot of it - for the first 2 weeks of use I had to wipe the brush off with a tissue.
I expect length, curl, and separation from my mascara. As for the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara it does give me everything I want. My lashes without a mascara look this way. They don’t stand out but I also love that they’re mine and not falsies.
I always use the Shiseido curler before mascara application for a better lift and curl.
The product provides me with a good length, it does separate my lashes however, they feel a tad heavy so they fall down by the end of the day.
Sadly enough, there’s one more drawback about this mascara from Tarte. It falls out. By noon, closer to evening, slowly but truly, I start looking like a panda more and more. This can be touched-up, I know. But still, I want my makeup look flawless and be sure that it’s good without any touch-ups.
I also don’t like the way it looks if I apply 2 coats. My lashes look too heavy and they start clumping.
I have nothing bad to say about its wear time, aside from the fall out aspect.
It washes off easily with a bi-phase makeup remover.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara is a good product. I like the way it looks on my lashes but I feel so bad when it falls out.
My eyes are sensitive and they don’t react to this mascara at all.
I’ll keep on using this mini but I’m not sure that I’d ever buy the full size.
