Hello there!
I’d like to tell you about one of the most popular eyeshadow palette from the Tarte brand. If you ask makeup artists which eyeshadow to buy, 90% of them will definitely say that either the Tarte In Bloom or the Tarte Amazonian Clay.
Packaging
Divine! 🔥 For me, the packaging is always important because it’s much more pleasant to hold in your hands, a very beautiful and gorgeous black palette.
Inside there is a big mirror. The mirror is worth a lot of words and praises because it’s really handy. It reflects every detail, which is such an advantage. It opens up and closes fuss-free.
The aroma is really pleasant and vanilla.
Palette and shades
The palette has 16 matte and 4 shimmering shades to offer.
I’ve never put on a makeup where I hadn’t used some shades from this palette, even though I’ve got a small pile of different eyeshadow palettes. You see, the palette is so universal and it has all the needed shades. One can easily create daytime and light makeup as well as vibrant and evening looks.
Texture and pigmentation
You know, it’s a common occasion when you see dope eyeshadows in the refills but once you start applying them, you can see a messy finish on your skin. There’s nothing of that kind with this eyeshadow palette. The pigmentation here is so awesome that it doesn’t even require packing.
The texture is also soft, so there are no problems with blending either.
It’s so great that the palette has a really nice black color which is sometimes absent in many palettes.
The shimmering shades offer butter texture which is nice to apply and blend out.
Their pigmentation is also out of this world.
How and what to apply them with?
I never apply my eyeshadows over the non-prepped eyes. I always use a special base, primers or cream eyeshadows beforehand. I can also wear them over eye tints or prep the eyes with the leftovers of the foundation sitting on a brush.
This way, my eyeshadows look bright and the staying power extends.
I apply the dry textures with a natural bristle flat brush and use a fluffy goat brush for blending. As for the shimmers, I apply them only with my fingers, so I can see the most pigmented and saturated finish.
I tried applying them with different brushes, natural and synthetic but I could never get such an intense payoff.
My impressions of use.
I love this palette for the variety of shades and finishes that it offers. I can easily come up with different makeups. The only gripe about it is actually the falling out texture. The products dust but still I don’t find it as a big disadvantage.
