Highlighters are probably my second love when it comes to makeup, after lip glosses. I have a lot of different highlighters in my collection and I do love all of them more or less. Today I want to share my thoughts with you on the Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter.
The product comes packed with a branded box. The package is actually a soft light beige tube with a golden top and golden letters that disappear over time.

The product has a cream-gel consistency and I always experience a pleasant cooling effect on my skin when I apply the product.
It’s better to distribute the highlighter with your fingers or a brush, because a sponge is likely to apply it patchily and unevenly.
The formula sets within 30-60 seconds and then you won’t be able to move it at all.
Beware, the product dissolves matte and long-lasting foundations, creating ugly spots in the coverage. And there are only two ways to solve the problem - either apply it before your foundation or use any other cream highlighter. All the other fondations take it well.

Exposed color is such a beautiful and gentle champagne shade.
Though I can’t say that it’s delicate or anything. The effect on my skin doesn’t look too bright but… I can clearly see some glistening particles in the formula. It isn’t an everyday go-to highlighter for me. I can wear it only in the evening.
By the by, the wear time that the product offers is fantastic! I can see the highlighter present on my skin till the moment I remove my makeup and it definitely doesn’t lose its pigmentation during wear.
The
Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter is a must for evening makeup or for a photoshoot and videos.
I can’t say that this item touched my heart. It is beautiful, it has a big size and excellent wear time, but there’s too much glitter there which is definitely detectable on my skin.
If you aren’t against big shimmer bits on your skin and you take photos or make videos a lot, then you’ll like this highlighter.
