Too Faced Natural Lust Bronzer - review

I wanted to have this bronzer for so long. I was craving for it.

And finally, this is it, my precious product.

When I was opening, it literally took my breath away.

I should be honest and I’d say that I longed for it so much mainly because of its design.

You see, you can find a good bronzer from affordable brands too. But you’ll never find this peacock there.

When I see this packaging, I associate it with 1920-1930s. At that time dames used to have such beautiful things.

The aroma is the feature of the Too Faced brand. The site says it’s coconut but I also feel some sweet notes. Anyway, the bronzer smells very pleasant but not too overwhelming, mind that.

I won’t stop for long on the packaging and only say that it’s plastic, very good quality plastic. It closes safely, opens easily and inside, and has an excellent mirror.

I can’t see any difference with what part of the product I apply, dark or light, so I prefer mixing the powders together because it’s way easier.

At first, I felt too sorry to start to use this product because I didn’t want to destroy that beautiful powder peacock.

But when I dared to do it, I sighed with relief: the bronzer turned out to be a tough cookie.

It’s nice to pick up with a brush or swatch with my fingers. But at the same time, it’s really well-pressed and the print hasn’t gone even after almost two months of use. The spending is minimal which is also good, counting its price. Though 18g of the powder will last long anyway.

In the swatches, you can see it’s glowing finish. I mean it doesn’t have any chunky glistening bits, only the glow which is obvious and visible by the way. After application, my skin looks as though lit from within.

If I wrote this review right after the purchase, I’d say that the powder was badly pigmented. Earlier, I used to pack it more and apply for several times to get that gentle and desired result on my skin. But now, I’ve already gotten used to picking it up with a brush more actively and now the pigment sits more willingly. (Maybe that’s because I took off the first layer of the powder).

Nevertheless, Natural Lust bronzer still appears harmonious on my face and it never shows itself. The finish is always so beautiful and my skin is sleek with it. Barely anyone will get that I wear this bronzer.

Today, in my golden look, I used this bronzer and it’s so harmonious there. I applied it on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, forehear (across the hairline), jawline and neck so as to fake tan on my skin everywhere.

The product offers great staying power. On me, it stays put until I remove it. Usually, I wear it for 8-9 hours during the day.

What about cheaper dupes? I read that some people compare it with the baked Catrice Sun Lover Glow bronzer. I agree. They look similar and I even have a thought of comparing them.

But Too Faced is packed in such gorgeous packaging, hence it costs more.

I’m still in love with the hero of my review. I never regretted buying it. Beautiful things cheer me up and bring me into really high spirits. And the finish is really to die for.
