To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Too Faced released their new eyeshadow palette.
The palette is rather big, bright and eye-catching.
The packaging is made of a gentle pink color with shiny glitter on it. The palette is rather rough by touch, I should say. But it looks so festive and bright.
All in all, there are 20 shades in the palette. The upper row consists of the products which were released in 1998 and the shades from the bottom row are new and modern.
They all look vibrant, don't they?
The two rows even look a little bit similar, I think.
Here we can see matte and shimmering eyeshadows.
Here are the swatches of the first row:
And these are the shades from the second row:
My impressions of use:
The products are well packed with pigments, though I can’t say that they are super pigmented.
When I apply them on my skin, there’s almost no dusting from them. But if we’re speaking about the glitter shades, they do fall out a little.
The blending isn’t an issue but still, I’d recommend you wear them over a primer for a better hold.
The shades are varied here and they’re all matchy.
The palette also has a list with makeup looks. Many eyeshadow palettes have these nowadays and I find them useful.
Some of my makeups were done following the guidance list.
In fact, the palette is good but to my own liking, it doesn’t have some special shades which would take my breath away. For me, the palette is rather basic. But still, it can be a good helper for everyone who loves some variety in their makeup.
