For me, cat eyes are essential. They are like a finishing line in my makeup. I adore them so much. In general, I love black and matte eyeliners. But something went differently recently and my collection was filled with one sparkling Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner.
Like all the other products from Urban Decay, this one was also packed with a box of a pleasant shifting purple-black color. I can’t help but mention the holographic glitter all over the sticker, which looks so posh and eye-catching.
Inside, there was the tube with the eyeliner.
The design is simple and sleek. Here we have a plastic tube, which is transparent to see the product and its amount inside. The lettering is silver and it stands for the name of the product.
The top cap looks metal. It also has the engraved branded logo on it. So beautiful and stylish. I can feel all that quality and thought-out design behind it.

General info and ingredients:
Shade Spandex. There are 13 shades in the line-up to choose from. Everybody will certainly find a match.
The applicator is my favorite. It’s thin and resilient, yet not stiff at the same time. It’s very easy to maneuver and apply the product.
It does the job nicely.
The wiper removes all the unnecessary product, leaving the right amount on the brush, which you can witness yourself.
Texture: It’s actually a water-based glitter eyeliner. I can’t say that it’s thick or anything but it’s definitely not runny. Thanks to the good correlation between the glitter and water base, the product isn’t a problem to pack with a thicker layer. However, one has to be quick to do so.
Since it’s a glitter eyeliner, it’s better to use it on top of a wing or makeup to achieve the best results.
The shade Spandex is actually a mix of blue, light blue and turquoise glitter, which prevails here. I can also detect some golden-green and pink sparkle here as well, which adorn the finish so beautifully.
Finish: Glittery, sparkling and shining. The water base evaporates, leaving matte base behind.
About application: The product is so nice to apply and it has adjustable coverage and finish. It sets rather quickly, I need no more than 30 seconds without blinking to let the product dry down completely.
Full-on makeup You can wear it as an eyeshadow or as a glittering part of your makeup, where you’ll have to pat it with your fingers. Doing so, you can be sure that it won’t fade away or lose its pigmentation.
Makeup:Full-on makeup:A few words about the staying power: It impressed me. I was wearing both makeups for more than 12 hours and there wasn’t a shimmer to fall out. They both looked perfectly well. The water base is fantastic because it holds the product for good. It feels as though it can live through 24 hour-wear easy-breezy.
Performance: The product doesn’t tug my skin and I don’t detect it at all. No fallout. Everything is fine about it.
Wash off: Pat a cotton pad soaked with micellar water over your eyes and leave it on for some time. Don’t rub it, so as not to smear the glitter all over your face. This way it removes the product properly and I don’t even have to do it twice.
The spending depends on how often and much you use it. I need two portions of the product for one wing if I want it to look bold and bright. And if I want just a sparkle, then one portion for one eye is fine. I can assure you that it goes a long way. And if you aren’t a makeup artist, then you can be absolutely sure that it’ll go a very long way for you.
A reminder! Don’t forget to close the top cap tightly, otherwise, the water base will dry down!
If you do so, I think it’ll last more than 6 months.

★ Don’t forget to apply it over some product. If I wear it solo, then the base looks sheer and there’s only glitter, which I don’t appreciate alone, as it doesn’t look finished.

The eyeliner is dope! No, it isn’t classy but who needs classics when we have such a beauty here! This is a product for those who want to shine bright and who are fed up with humdrum. Besides, it’s such a nice option for a festive makeup. I use only this one and I always want to reach it. BOMB! Honestly, I wish I could assess it with 10 stars out of 5!
