I bought this lip balm in the shade N121- Lady and The Vamp. Sounds intriguing, right? And the color seemed to be beautiful. I wanted to get the right burgundy shade, which would look dark maroon on my lips, without any hint of crimson undertones.
And it does appear so, at first. Beautiful but not for a long time. Within some time this nice and noble shade starts creasing into a cheap-looking bright crimson uneven color.
I guess this is how cheap pigments are able to perform on the skin. Besides, all that crimson mess starts feathering, settling into the smallest fine lines on my lips. In the end, I have some terrible mess of undetectable color on my lips, which I always want to wash off asap, instead of getting a beautiful and noble color coverage. To top it off, I have to tell you that the product pigments my lips and dries them out a lot! When I start applying this product it looks like a lip balm at first, but then, within some time my lips feel super dry and suffocated with all those cheap colorants. It quickly found its way to the garbage, because I can’t even give it out to somebody.
