Hello! :)Like many other gals, I love matte lipsticks a lot! I especially cherish them because of the wear time they show and the way they look on my lips. Once I could get my hands onto this lipsticks, I immediately started dreaming of fabulous comfort on my lips and unbelievable wear time.
But, I was able to find out the truth about it within a few uses.
Price: $45
Packaging: it was housed in a cardboard golden box. All the info was also printed there. In a word, the outer appearance already hints that there’s something extraordinary inside.
The tube with the lippie is light but still looks stylish. I’d even said noble. 😁 It’s definitely pleasant to look at. 😍
It opens up easily and smoothly. I’ve never experienced such joy and pleasant feelings when closing or opening my lipsticks, regardless of the high-end or drugstore segments.
My shade is called #204 Rouge Scandal. For me, it’s that very classy and wearable red shade for events and special occasions.
I also love the smell of the product. It smells like a good lipstick if you know what I mean. It just rocks my socks off. I’m fed up with all those vanilla and fruit scents already. Finally, a lipstick that smells like a lipstick.
The texture is rather thick but when I apply it, it feels like it's melting.
Application: Smooth and easy. It doesn’t feather or bleed. It always feels comfortable and I don’t feel its presence.
After application, I have a feeling that my lips are hydrated, which is so nice!
The outer appearance is gorgeous! The shade is classy and it feels like the lipstick shows off! 😁.
But, in terms of the matte aspect, I don’t think that it’s totally matte, you know. I expected something different so I’m a little bit upset but still, I love the way it looks but I can’t say that the finish is matte.
The staying power is great but it won’t live through a bite.
It stains cups and dishes. However, if I don't eat, the staying power will be decent. It fades gradually yet the coverage can be touched-up. In fact, the wear time of truly matte lipsticks will be better.
In general, I’m positive about this lipstick, even though it has several disadvantages and it has never become matte for me.
