Hello pretty ladies! Smile

I adore balm-lipsticks. No tacky feel, semi-sheer coverage and glossy finish, isn’t that a dream?

Today I’d like to tell you about the YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick in vibrant and really summer-like color.

I have it in a small size, so it lacks the design in comparison with the full-sized packaging.

The design is classy for the brand - everything is covered with gold and the top cap is adorned with the branded logo.

The formula is scented with the aroma that reminds me of watermelons.

The texture is classic for such a lippie because it’s soft, plaint and balm-like.

It may go melting a little when it’s hot, so be very careful with it.

The application is perfect and smooth. The formula may define my chapped lips a little but it quickly smoothes itself out some time later.

I don’t have to bother with lining my lips because the texture is lightweight. But if your lips are chapped or wrinkled, you won’t get by without a lip liner.

The lipstick doesn’t crease with a white film on my lips but it can still settle into my lip fine lines. But I think that would be visible only on the macro shots. Maybe that settling would be more detectable with darker shades, I don’t know.

YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick feels super comfortable on my lips. It feels like I applied some lip balm but not a lipstick at all. The coverage is light but you can pack it for a better color payoff.

The collection presents quite a variety of shades which are various and beautiful. I have mine in the bright, yet really gentle neon-pink color #49.

When I pack the coverage, the color gets more saturated but even one layer still looks nice and so welcoming for the daytime and office makeup.

The staying power is ~ 3-4 hours, the glossy finish vanishes quicker. It’s obvious that such shades can tint your lips, so this lippie is no way an exception. The tinting finish is bright yet rather muted.

The lipstick doesn’t dry out my lips but I can’t say that it’s moisturizing either.

My lips feel fine while wearing as well as after I remove it. I don’t experience the desire to apply a lip balm right after it.

I like this YSL Rouge Volupté Shine lipstick! It’s got my favorite texture of all times. It’s really comfortable for my lips, even though it doesn’t have thick coverage.

I’d like to advise you all to pay attention to the brighter shades in the line, which will be the greatest for summer makeup.

Price - $38

Thanks for your attention! Stay beautiful and have an enjoyable shopping spree! Smile
