I've had this beautiful golden nail lacquer for three months already, as I intentionally bought it for the fall.
I know that my review is a little bit out of time as fall is already finished.
Becoming gold
I’ve always been in love with this color as I associate it with something warm, beautiful and expensive. I think I’ve been looking for the right golden color for 9 years to look at it and understand that this is like true gold on my nails.
And finally my dream came true!
Now I have all my nails covered with gold. Now my touch bursts gold everyday when I want it to.
Now I’m like the greedy King Midas who was obsessed with yellow metal.
So let’s pass over to the review of the lacquer itself.
For a long time I was watching the reviews and shots of this very color and was afraid to buy it as it looked bronzy there and no way like true gold. But later on I found better swatches.
This nail lacquer totally consists of glitter which guarantees some difficulties with its removing, though the product isn’t devilishly difficult to remove.
The staying power isn’t phenomenal, even though it’s an Orly product.
It looks decent on my nails for the first four days and then chips and cracks. It stays on better only with a top coat by the same brand.
The product stinks awfully! Moreover the scent stays there for a long time even after the product dries out. This is the worst and unbearable disadvantage.
It dries slowly too, as many other nails lacquers by Orly, so I was ready to face that.
One layer looks good though I still applied two for the photos.
I guess the product looks the best outside and when it’s sunny. I like the way it shines in the sun.
This color is very festive and noticeable.
It’ll always stand out, so for the first time I didn’t even know what to wear it with to make the look harmonious.
Later on I just stopped caring. :)
The gold is always to the place
Price: $8.65
I give this Orly nail lacquer 4 stars, even though it stinks for a long time.
P. S. the color is called Glitz & Glamour
