Thermal spring water? What is it? What to do with it? Five long years ago, I didn’t even know about thermal water's existence, but now I can’t imagine my life without it.
Are there any among you who can’t live without it? Or are there any people who are still unaware of what thermal spring water is.
I’m among the first group, as the travel sized product is always with me in my purse.
How to choose a thermal water and why is it so good?
They differ in their mineral properties. But this one is of:
Low mineral content: Does not dry out the skin
Ideal calcium/magnesium ratio: Helps to improve skin texture
Rich in silicates: Softens skin
Rich in trace elements: Restores the epidermal barrier
Neutral pH: 7.5
Thermal water with an abundance of salt can dry your skin, and if there’s not a lot of salt, such water will be good for dry skin type.
I’m genuinely surprised when I see the girls who pick up the first product they see without reading labels. And then, they say that the water dried out their skin too much, etc. When choosing thermal water you need to pay attention to the mineral ingredients of it. It’s the same as choosing your care products.

I use it all year round, even now when my skin is dry sensitive. It suits me perfectly well and I don’t feel any discomfort from using it.
Why do I use this product?
1) My most favorite way to use it is to spritz some water over my face, especially in summer. I feel so fresh after, and what's more, I know that the water takes care of my skin. I want to repeat it again that this thermal spring water doesn’t dry my skin at all. By the way, I sometimes spritz it over my make-up. They say that thermal water can work as a finishing spray and give longevity to your make-up, I don’t know, I haven’t noticed any supernatural staying power. My make-up stays on well with and without this thermal water.
2) This product reduces ruddy skin so well! I use it anytime and everywhere. For example, I like to spritz it over my face after I visit my cosmetician and after peeling procedures. I also use it as a toner. As for the body use, here I spritz this product after dilapidation, and only then apply my body cream or lotion.
3) Thermal water does not necessarily have to provide you with deep moisture. But still, it gives a great fresh feeling. I can’t sunbathe without it, as I constantly spritz it over my face and shoulders.
The product is really versatile. I know that some people use thermal water to make clay masks. I don’t do it, as I find this way to be not very economical.
The product has a great spray pump.
It spritzes the water with tiny drops. If you don’t spray too much, you won’t end up with smudged make-up, or any other make-up troubles.
There was a booklet you can read and find some useful information to follow.
I appreciate that the product doesn't irritate my eyes at all. Even on very sensitive and reactive skin around the eyes, this water leaves comforting feelings. I apply this water after different chemical and acid peels and it works wonders, as it reduces irritation and redness. Even my cosmetician, who is usually skeptical about all my cosmetic products, approved my choice of thermal water.
Of course you have the right to think that the thermal water is a useless product and is a treat of the 21st century, but I have another opinion: I think that it’s wise to use everything that was invented and made for our beauty and health. I will keep buying this product and if you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend doing it. I try out a lot of thermal waters, but still I come back to this one by Avene. I presume that it’s impossible to become disappointed about such product as thermal water. The worst thing that may happen is that you understand that you don’t like this or that brand and won’t buy it any more. Nothing harmful.
Thanks for your attention!
