This spring I finally happened to visit Amazon.com, which is the real paradise for those who love makeup and skin care products. I couldn’t help but purchase the Baebody Eye Gel along with other products I was planning to order. The product is a bestseller in Eye Treatment Gels.
It comes in a jar with 50 ml, which is not typical for eye gels.
Price tag: $55
However it is on sale for the time being, so I bought it for $24.
I received my order in a paper packaging tightly sealed with a sticker.
The same tamper proof sticker was on the jar.
I’m glad that it is sealed this way, because the ingredients are safe from oxidation.

Directions: Dab gently around the eyes, forehead and cheek area. Can also be used as an all over face treatment. Can be used under makeup. Use two times daily (morning and night) for best results.

The dispenser gives too much of the product, so I hardly push it. The process:
The gel has a slight cucumber smell. The consistency is half-transparent and melts while applying.
My under eye skin has no significant problems, but I have fine lines and dark circles typical for people aged 27-something. I was planning to use the eye gel in summer to slightly moisturize the area. Since I have extremely oily skin in summertime, I didn’t want to over-weigh it.
My thoughts.
My skin was still dry in May, so I wanted to moisture it a little.
After applying to a towel dry face, I was underwhelmed. The gel absorbed in tracks and made my skin feel very taut. The cream applied after that changed it for the better, but I still felt quite uncomfortable.
Next time I decided to leave my face just a tiny bit damp after washing and used the product. Thus my skin felt well. As a result my skin gets even and looks refreshed and very light. The gel moisturizes my skin and doesn’t make it dry by the end of the day. I would even say that I got an oily sheen instead, but it's OK.
I haven’t noticed any changes in my under eye area. My fine lines are still there. I can’t also say about dark circles, because in my case it usually depends on my sleep and nutrition only.
I’ve been using the product every two days in the morning.
When it is bloody hot outside, I just moisture my face with the gel and use a cream in the under eye area next. The gel works flawless then. My face is moisturized, even, matte and healthy-looking. In two hours it gets oily. Well, maybe jojoba oil is too much for me. However, the product doesn’t clog my pores or cause any irritation.
Ingredients:
I liked using the eye gel in general. It evens out my skin tone and makes it look healthy and moisturized. Moreover, it has some anti-aging properties. The product is neither oily nor comedogenic. It could be used as a cream or a cream base under eyes and all over the face.
The only downside is that it could make your skin oily too quickly. Therefore I’m not going to repurchase it.
