My skin is mixed from dry to normal type with enlarged pores and signs of aging. I was looking for a product that would fight dry patches on my cheeks and nose but still be lightweight enough for my forehead and chin. And it exists!
Revitalise and soothe skin with this ultra-light, fast-absorbing face serum.
Enriched with anti-inflammatory apricot oil, brightening papaya and soothing tea tree oil, it will leave skin feeling soft and supple for perfect makeup application.
HOW TO USE:
Use to moisturise and prime skin and as an enriching night treatment. Or add some drops to your foundation for a dewy, radiant finish.
About the price
I bought it for $10, which is great for a really working product.
About the packaging
It’s made of glass. The tube isn’t see-through so I can’t control the amount of the product left inside. There’s also a dropper which dispenses it well.
However, I didn’t like that the product wasn’t covered or sealed ensuring first opening.
About the consistency and aroma
This elixir is actually a yellow oil. It is runny but also nice to distribute all over my face.
The finish is natural and oily. On my skin, it sinks in fully within 5 minutes leaving no sheen or anything behind.
The aroma is specific. I know that many people smell lemon but for me, it smells of cubeb oil. Very specific.
About the results
My skin is immediately hydrated and even if I apply it only once a day, my skin is already smooth and soft. It is able to even out some wrinkles because of skin nurture.
I also love using it as a makeup primer. It feels really smooth and even my matte foundations apply flawlessly over it.
It doesn’t clog my pores, even if I use it daily.
Ethical aspect
The product is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.
Overall
I’m head over heels with this elixir. My skin has never been so soft. I’m not sure that I would need another bottle for the summer. But once it gets colder, I’ll definitely repurchase!
