I don’t have a lot of products by the Smashbox brand, but all the products that I’ve tried were very good. Smashbox is a professional brand and it offers professional and good-quality cosmetics.
So, Photo Finish Radiance Primer
It’s noteworthy that primers are actually a trademark of the brand. I can’t say that I’ve ever been into face primers, since my skin doesn’t need any makeup primers, especially those ones which promise to make my makeup stay on longer. This Radiance primer is actually hydrating and I guess it suits my skin pretty well.
Package: It’s a soft tube with a matte top cap.
It’s rather thick texture-wise, this is why I’d advise you to use a brush for application for better and more even coverage. The product doesn’t have any smell. The color is bronze-gold, though it isn’t pigmented enough, so the product leaves traceless light sun-kissed skin.
This primer beautifully evens out my skin relief, making it ready for the following makeup application. It nicely diminishes the appearance of my pores, it makes the fine lines appear smaller and it also gives good moisture to my skin (this is obvious, since there’s hyaluronic acid in the ingredients). What’s more, the product gifts me with a very beautiful instant golden hour glow, which is barely detectable once I apply my foundation over it, though.

The popping feature of this primer is its staying power. It stays really long on my skin. My foundation holds on the entire day over this primer, even if I work out in the gym. And I also noticed that in the evening I wash off the same amount of the primer and foundation that was applied in the morning.
