I can’t say that I have an arsenal of body polishes in my stash but still, I have several. And I want to tell you about them.
My bathroom shelf has the Clarins Body Tonic Polisher which is to tone, refresh and energize my skin.

Outer appearance
The products from this collection offer really vibrant yellow-orange packages. Even at the stores they always steal all the attention.
♥ This product was packed with a big orange plastic jar. It has a white screw-on top cap. It’s rather heavy and I can feel it’s filled well.
♥ The back of it shows the product info in several languages.
♥ When I first opened it, I found a foil sealing that protected the product from interfering. Also, it has a plastic liner.
Even though the liner lines well, it’s still isn’t a problem to remove.
I was impressed to see all that protection.

Consistency
♥ This body polisher is thick in consistency and somehow reminds me of sugared honey.
I can explain that resemblance because the formula is enriched with sugar and salt crystals. They’re the polishing beads here.
♥ The color is off-white-yellow. It’s rather pleasant to look at.
♥ Once I take the cap off, the fragrance of essential oils cuddles everything around.
The product is enriched with essential oils of Rosemary, Mint, and Rosewood.
The aroma is pretty potent. In life, it might have been an issue to use it.
However, we use a body polisher with water and while taking a shower, so the smell spreads and becomes more bearable.
Product promises
This spa-fresh revitalising body scrub with essential oils of rosemary, rosewood and mint is formulated with sugar and salt crystals. It eliminates dead skin cells and impurities while protecting the skin’s hydrolipidic film. The skin’s texture is polished and softness is restored to the skin. This body exfoliator stimulates and refreshes body and mind and instils a pleasant sensation of well-being
My impressions of use
♥ It’s directed to use 1-2 times a week which I follow.
♥ It pisses me off a little that I have to scoop it out with my hands because there was no spatula provided. But if you care, you can buy one for this product. As for me, my laziness wins me over and I take it out with my hands.
♥ When the product contacts water, it turns into a white consistency that dilutes in warm water some time later.
♥ Even though it consists of a great deal of salt and sugar crystals, it’s still very delicate for my skin and never damages it.
I can advise you to apply it over your steamed skin. I guess if you like the sauna, you’ll fall for this body polisher.
♥ My skin is very soft and velvety to the touch after use.
Despite all those essential oils in the ingredients, the product doesn’t leave any sticky film or discomforting feelings behind. On the contrary, it feels so supple that I don’t even need to additionally moisturize it, which is a common occasion for me after any other time when I take a shower or a bath.
♥ When I use it regularly, my skin becomes toned and more bouncy.
I guess those crystals work as a micro-massage for my skin.
Spending
I think the spending is average if used regularly. As for me, I’ve been using it for 3 months and there’s still about a fourth of the product left in the jar.
Even if we count its high-end price and divide it into the months of use, the final price won’t be so hefty.

- no need for additional moisture after use
- no oily or sticky film behind
- it generally affects my skin condition for the better
Cons:
- no scoop was provided
- the smell might be an issue
In the end, I conclude that I love this body polisher because it positively affects my skin and revives me with its bracing aroma. It’s really very pleasant to use.
