What’s inside
The cream is white, rather dense and thick. It spreads well on my skin.
The smell is strong and chemical. I can’t even describe it. After application, the odor remains on the skin, causing a mild itching to the eyes. Such is normal for me, but the company claims their skincare products are hypoallergenic. So that's a big minus point.
THE APPLICATION
I usually apply this face cream when my skin gets dry (in the winter time), because the cream is quite greasy.
The SPF is not always an advantage for me. This SPF 20 is too weak for my skin because I use at least SPF 50 or even 100 in the summer. The SPF 20 is good for the winter, though
How to use:
I do it as it was suggested. I try to extend the period between application of this cream and my makeup.
CONCLUSION
This PEP-Start face cream has a good effect on dry skin and does not make flaky skin so visible. BUT my skin gets greasy and shiny.
Why I take off stars?
- one star for the fragrance
- a half a star for the greasiness
So it’s four stars with a big minus. I can recommend this cream to the owners of dry skin! At least those who can endure such a smell.
