Recently Clinique has released a new range of skincare products called Pep-Start. What is new here and how unique is the range? Let’s find out.
Let’s start off by looking at the packaging. It has changed a little as opposed to the previous versions of the products. The yellow plastic looks really bright. The packaging looks like glass, but it is just a quality sturdy plastic. I don’t have anything against it, I like it.
I suppose that such a vibrant packaging is meant for young girls. Suggested age: 18 +

Fragrance: hardly noticeable. Love it.
Important note: SPF 20, which means that we are safe from the sun rays.

What they promise:
Oil-free moisturizer instantly refreshes and delivers all-day hydration. Thanks to HydroRush moisture barrier technology, moisture barrier is more prepared to resist outside stressors and aggressors. Gives skin a healthy-looking glow and UV protection against the sun’s aging rays. Wear it alone, or under foundation as a prep for makeup.
I have dry skin, so it is not so easy to find a decent cream that would moisturize my skin properly. However, the miracle happened. This cream with SPF protection moisturizes perfectly! It seems that it moisturizes and nourishes my skin at the same time, which is great for wintertime in particular.
The texture reminds me of a soft butter. It applies with ease and absorbs in about 10 minutes.
After application my skin stays a little bit shiny the whole day, but it doesn’t really bother me. It gets better after it has soaked in. However, I’m not sure if the product is suitable for combination to oily skin.
The cream does really protect my skin from UV rays. It moisturizes my face and doesn’t clog my pores. More than that, it refreshes my skin, which is very good.
