I’ve tried a range of smart day/night creams and serums in mini-versions.
I have the CLINIQUE Smart Night Custom-Repair Moisturizer with 7 ml while the full version comes with 50 ml.
The cream is white and has a very thick texture. It’s fragrance-free, but has a slight nice smell as opposed to day cream and serum of the same brand. The scent is hardly noticeable on my skin.
Our smart nighttime moisturizer immediately plumps skin 75%. Works all night to visibly smooth lines and wrinkles, even skin tone and lift. Smart hydration technology helps skin attract and retain moisture. Oil-free.
I didn’t know how my problem combination skin that was prone to dryness was going to react to the cream, so I applied it to my skin 60 minutes before going to bed. I hoped it would absorb completely during that time. By the way, my skin doesn’t appreciate creamy textures. Unfortunately, no miracle happened again. The cream did not absorb neither, even though it’s meant for combination skin type.
What did I have in the morning?
My face looked like a greasy pancake. I hadn’t noticed any moisturizing or refreshing effect or any glow, except for an oily one. I had smooth skin neither on the first day, nor on the next few days.
I can’t say anything about the lifting effect, because I have quite youthful skin with a few forehead wrinkles. The cream didn’t show any impact on them.
To make things right, I’d decided to use this product along with the Clinique serum, but it absorbed even worse. Moreover, my pores were clogging really fast.
I think that it’s all about my youthful skin. The cream just doesn’t suit it. However, the sales assistants claim that Clinique products are meant for any age.
The product retails for about $57, which is too much for a cream that doesn’t work.
I don’t recommend CLINIQUE Smart Night Custom-Repair Moisturizer. You can buy it in a mini-version and see if it suits your skin.
As for me, I’ve been using it as a hand cream, but the smell was not good. So this product is a total flop for me.
