My skin is very problematic and I’ve used so many products to fight acne that I can now write a book about all of them. I was curious to try these pads out as they were something new (I’ve never tried a product designed like that) and of course because they were so praised on YouTube. Does everybody need the COSRX pads?
On the packaging there’s information given in Korean as well as in English (thanks for that). I want to stop your attention on the design of the product. The man on the packaging who is swiping his skin with the pads is very funny, I always smile when I look at him.
The pads are to take care of problematic skin. They promise that the pads will help us to get rid of clogged pores, acne and acne scars and all that thanks to the unique and active ingredients.
The first in the list of ingredients goes the Salix Alba (Willow) which is famous for the antibacterial and anti-inflammation effect. There’s also Panthenol, Salicylic Acid (BHA), Tea Tree and Orange Peel Oil.
In the pack there are 70 pads soaked with essence. The pad has two sides one has little bumps while the other is smooth. As they say at first you need to swipe your skin with a bumpy side to fight inflammation and acne and then swipe with the smooth side to give moisture. But there are actually some other ways to use the pads too.
For example if I have some time before going out after washing my face I leave the pad on my pimple (if I have it) for 15-20 minutes. This doesn’t feel bad or tingling, even though there are BHA acids in the ingredients. On the contrary, I take it as a relaxing process and aromatherapy as the pads smell like Coke for me.
15 minutes after I just swipe my face with another side of the pad and apply my moisturizing cream.
I’ve never had such a good product to fight acne before! I can see that the acne as well as acne scars disappear way faster if I use these pads. I’ve already bought the second jar of this product.
I’ve fallen in love with the COSRX!
