What is my dream body brush?
1. It’s stiff, but it doesn’t flay me.
2. It’s durable (usually such things fall apart after a while).
3. It’s easy to use and it doesn’t slip out of my hand.
4. Can be used in water (my skin is often irritated after dry brushing).
5. Can be used for massage.
6. Not really big.
7. Nice to look at:)
I saw this little one on the first page of search results. There was the only but: this brush is designed for dry brushing, but personally I avoid dry brushing because I think it’s rather traumatizing for the skin.
But the price was so low that I decided to give this one a try. I thought I wouldn’t regret this purchase even if it falls apart.
The brush looks nice, the bristles were covered and there was no superfluous information on the label.
It’s made of bamboo wood; the bristles are synthetic. The brush seems really nice in general, and looks nature-friendly, I’d say. It even makes my bathroom cozier!
There are many dense bristles which are angled:
The bundles of bristles are really thick and dense, and do not prickle my skin, but massage and cleanse it.
Why do I like this brush and why I recommend it for everyone:
- it’s great both in the shower and for dry brushing (I’ve been using it for three months 3-4 times a week, and it still looks fine)
- it doesn’t absorb shower gel, and you only need a few drops to make a thick foam
- you don’t have to cleanse it for 5 minutes after each use. Shake it and let it dry in the air.
- my body scrubs pale in comparison with this. But I keep buying them anyway, but it’s some sort of a whim rather than real necessity.
- the skin on my hips looks smoother now because such a massage improves blood circulation and the skin condition in general
- the brush is really handy and doesn’t slip out of my hand, and doesn’t take much room in my bathroom. I store it with its bristles down.
One word: flawless. Ten thoroughly cleansed girls out of ten!
