I got this cream along with a few other items from the brand as a gift for an expensive purchase. By that time, I had two similar sets and decided to test them one by one. I was curious to try out the cream for $310.

First of all, the description (the more expensive an item is, the more poetic are the promises):

The secret of infinite beauty.

See your skin thrive with this rewardingly rich creme, infused with our exclusive Floralixir™ Dew, powerful Ultimate Lift technologies and rejuvenating nourishment.

Skin looks remarkably more lifted, feels dramatically firmer—and is strengthened to help resist future signs of aging. A stunning radiance is revealed.

Endlessly regenerate the vital bloom of youth.

And this is what it’s made from:

Water\Aqua\Eau; Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter); Caprylic/Capric/Myristic/Stearic Triglyceride; Methyl Trimethicone; Di-C12-15 Alkyl Fumarate; Dimethicone; Butylene Glycol; Steareth-2; Stearyl Alcohol; Glyceryl Stearate; Pentylene Glycol; Glycerin; Steareth-21; Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Sterols; Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract; Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract; Narcissus Tazetta Bulb Extract; Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract; Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract; Ergothioneine; Artemia Extract; Saccharomyces Lysate Extract; Fuscoporia Obliqua Extract; Gellidiela Acerosa (Algae) Extract; Swertia Chirata Extract; Laminaria Digitata Extract; Cordyceps Sinensis Extract; Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein; Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein; Cholesterol; Caffeine; Linoleic Acid; Hypnea Musciformis (Algae) Extract; Whey Protein\Lactis Protein\Proteine Du Petit-Lait; Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Extract\Extrait D'Orge; Pearl Powder; Bioflavonoids; Acetyl Hexapeptide-8; Propylene Glycol Dicaprate; Algae Extract; Sodium Hyaluronate; Trehalose; Acetyl Glucosamine; Gold; Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seedcake; Decarboxy Carnosine Hcl; Yeast Extract\Faex\Extrait De Levure; Polysilicone-11; Isohexadecane; Tocopheryl Acetate; Sodium Hydroxide; Acrylamide/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer; Carbomer; Polysorbate 80; Sodium Dehydroacetate; Lecithin; Polymethylsilsesquioxane; Citric Acid; Sodium Benzoate; Cellulose; Fragrance (Parfum); Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate; Disodium Edta; Bht; Phenoxyethanol; Yellow 5 (Ci 19140); Red 33 (Ci 17200)

Here are silicones, oils, extracts, hyaluronic acid, some dyes and the fragrance.

My miniatures were in golden plastic jars (1 oz. in total).

The cream has a strong scent of something powdery-flowery-chemical, and the aroma lasts for a few minutes after application. I didn’t like it, but I was ready to bear it for the promised effect. Later, I got used to it.

The formula is creamy and pretty thick but it melts when in contact with my skin and can be easily spread all over. The cream absorbs instantly, leaving no film, just smooth skin with a lightweight silicone feeling.

Causes no problems with makeup or other skin care products. My makeup doesn’t crumble or wear off when applied over it. It’s really nice to use, except for the overwhelming fragrance.

I can’t say it provides enough moisture for my dry skin. I always need a serum under it. For me, it works nice as a makeup primer, plus has nourishing properties. My skin feels really nourished even after I wash this off. Such an effect is similar to face masks with shea butter (this one contains it, btw). Also, the cream gives my skin a bit of glow. I don’t know if it’s pearls or silicones to thank for it.

Unfortunately, once you stop using it for a day or two, the effect disappears.

The cream caused no problems like redness or irritation or pimples. I only felt a kind of itching when I applied it onto irritated and sensitive skin.

Neither big nor small wrinkles were affected by it. Maybe I didn’t use this long enough, though.

I think such nourishing and nice formula can be also found for less money. I think this isn’t worth its price at all.

Price: $310 for 1,7 oz.

Used for: 5 months.

Made in the UK.

Will I repurchase it? No.
