A year and a half ago I “raided” a Kiko store in Rome, buying all their bestsellers as well as products unknown to me. Also, I learned that besides makeup, Kiko offers skin care products.
I saw these wipes in a YouTube video that described them with awe. As an advertising victim, I couldn’t help buying these wipes.
The packaging is like that of regular wet wipes, nothing extraordinary, except the glossy design. Also, there is a cap that closes the main hole, as well as a sticker, which is hard to remove to get a wipe.
Inside, there are 20 exfoliating wipes, all soaked with the formula. I don’t know, maybe it’s a miracle, but after 6 months after opening, all the wipes are still wet.
In another review, a girl suggested you cut these in a half. Well, okay, but I find putting the rest of the wipe back into packaging unhygienic. Anyway, I don’t do this.
The wipes have a slight pleasant aroma, something peachy.
The wipe itself is made of the same material as regular wet wipes except there are these exfoliating “bumps” on one side. They are pretty harsh so it’s not recommended for sensitive skin! The other side is smooth and soothing. I’d say, it has a cooling effect.
I use one wipe per week, not more. The exfoliating particles are very abrasive! They exfoliate my skin evenly, but one shouldn’t use them frequently, otherwise there is a risk that one may end up flayed.
I move it over my face, neck and decollete area, but never in the eye area, because it’s very sensitive. It takes from 3 to 5 minutes. Then, I turn the wipe and use the other side to soothe the redness.Yes, the face will be red, but everything will be okay within 15 minutes.
After using a wipe, my pores become less visible, as well as little pimples. The skin tone is even and glowy, that’s the result I want to achieve. These wipes are great alternative to regular face scrubs.
Price: 12 euros.
The package with 20 wipes will last for 5 months, when used once a week.
