About myself: 36 years old, sensitive and thin skin, prone to dryness. Uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, mimic wrinkles, poor skin turgor in the lower part of my face and occasional acne.
Product: gel-like formula, barely visible blue tint to the mask, silicone-y to the touch. The smell is long-lasting, intense and annoying. There is nothing special in the ingredients. The spending is economical.
Effect: I bought a mini-jar to try this out, without any spatulas. Such overnight treatments should be applied over a face cream or emulsion, not instead of one. I tried both ways.
The formula is lightweight and easy to spread. However, the feeling of sticky film appears, whenever I apply this over a cream. I stick to the pillow at night.
In the morning, the film is gone. It either soaks in into my skin or into the pillowcase, I don’t know.
There is no effect, at all. My face cream isn’t that great and I thought this treatment would improve it. Nope.
My skin isn’t hydrated, it’s simply dry. Even when I go to sleep without anything at all on my face, my skin isn’t THAT dry. There is no freshness or smoothness.
I get the same effect (or the absence of it) if I use this instead of my face cream. It soaks in well, but there is no hydration at all, and in the morning I feel this very film on my skin.
The bottom line: I’m not sure how this is supposed to work, because it hasn’t shown any effect on me.
