About a year ago I had the courage to undergo laser treatment on my face.
The main problem for me was the redness around my nose, which appeared unexpectedly when I was just 12 years old! Foundation has been my best friend ever since. If I don’t apply it, people usually think that I’m ill or have a cold
In fact I have varicose veins and vascular lesions all over my body. Although I always do everything to prevent them, it doesn’t work. Alas, I blame it on my genes, as I have the problem through the female line.
So I found an expert and decided to try the treatment. She removed some blood vessels on my cheeks and lots of them on my nose. In the first treatment I felt stinging, but when it came to my nose, it was extremely painful!
That’s why the session lasted for quite a long time. I tried hard and tolerated the pain
I had blood vessel removal in April, though doctors do not recommend carrying out the procedure in spring, because it is bad for your skin to tan after that. Before going out you should apply a sunscreen with SPF 30. Moreover, you should use an antibacterial cream for treated areas.
There is no use to talk about the procedure itself, as you can find a great deal of information about it on the Internet.
The only thing everyone is interested in is the result, so I’m going to show you some pictures.
First up, I underwent only one session! This fall I’m going to repeat it, but use an ND laser.
Unfortunately, I haven’t taken the before photo, because I was not going to write a review. But I found the one, where all of my skin problems are quite visible:
Here is the result after the treatment. I had slight redness, but the vascular lesions were gone:
The next day I looked like a quail egg The vessels baked this way and were still there for about a week!
Now I attach the shot of me at the moment. As far as you can see, the problem is not solved completely, but it obviously got better:
My verdict: The laser treatment does help, but you will have to undergo a complete treatment course and endure pain for optimum results!
