ΩΩΩ Hey! ΩΩΩ
I’d like to share my opinion about the L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream. I have the travel size of it, but there are also tubes of 30 and 150 ml.
▼Product promises:
Enriched with 20% Shea Butter, this super-creamy balm penetrates quickly to help protect, nourish and moisturize hands. Honey, almond extracts, and coconut oil are blended with Shea Butter to create this extremely effective formula. The rich texture leaves hands soft and smooth with no oily traces, and can be applied as often as needed. Considered a "beauty must-have" by many, this "life-changing" hand cream is essential for home, work and on-the-go.
My hands are naturally very sensitive and soft. I used to pay no attention to my hands and skin, and used hand creams quite rarely. For the past few years, especially during winter time, my hands and skin has become very dry, tightened and flaking.
Probably it was because of the constant necessity to wash my hands, maybe because of the lack of vitamins, or maybe just bad treatment during the last couple of years .
L'occitane Shea butter hand cream has become my must-have, and I’m really thankful to my friend who hooked me up with this cream.
▼A few words about the brand:
L'Occitane's famously luxe products are nothing short of a beauty phenomenon, loved by low-maintenance types and glamour girls alike. Created from the plants and essential oils found in Provence, a hilly region in the South of France lush with olive groves, lavender fields, and vineyards, L'Occitane's skin, body care, and fragrances are packed with natural favorites like honey, verbena, shea butter, and lavender. A master of mixing sensual formulas, while retaining the fresh-picked pungency of their ingredients, L'Occitane perfectly preserves the beauty traditions of this ripe Mediterranean land.
▼ Packaging
The neat tube is made of metal with a screw cap, it really reminds me of a octahedron. It looks stylish, I’d even say vintage. Have a look:
▼ Consistency
The cream is of quite thick consistency, but at the same time, it’s not greasy at all. It absorbs quickly, leaving no oily film or oily traces.
▼ Aroma
It smells like light essential oils of jasmine and ylang-ylang. The aroma is a tad sweet, but not off-putting or repulsive. It stays on my skin for about 3 hours.
▼ Results and use
During winter time this product works wonders with small scrapes, if you have any. It doesn’t stain my clothes or leave traces on paper. I think that office workers will find it very convenient to use. In summer I use this cream only overnight, as once-a-day-use is enough for this product. And in the morning, I’ll have my skin soft and nourished, and only L'occitane provides me with such nourishment. This cream has a cumulative effect and continues to work even if I stop using it for some time. A little goes a long way, as a pea-sized drop is sufficient enough for me.
There are 20% Shea butter in the ingredients, and I do believe it, as it goes among the first ones in the list of ingredients.
Hands speak your age - but not indelibly. Shea Butter is used traditionally by African woman to soothe and smooth skin exposed to Earth's fiercest ultraviolet conditions, and now can help relieve and restore yours. Massage this silky treatment into hands to counter dryness as often as needed.
This product does its job perfectly well. It fulfills all my demands, as it restores my skin even after the first use. If you want to treat your hands, then you should definitely treat them with L'Occitane Shea butter.
