Hello everybody!
I received this hand cream in a beauty box once and I’m really happy that I had the opportunity to test it in the travel size. That way, I prevented myself from being really upset, as for quite a while I was longing to buy this full-sized best-selling product by L’occitane.
I have small sized packaging of 10 ml. But there are also tubes of 30, 75 and 150ml.
Consistency-wise, this cream is rather thick, but easy to spread on my skin. It leaves a tad oily shine straight after the application. The scent is off-putting for me, it stinks like a cheap hand cream.
About the product:
Enriched with 20% Shea Butter, this super-creamy balm penetrates quickly to help protect, nourish and moisturize hands. Honey, almond extracts, and coconut oil are blended with Shea Butter to create this extremely effective formula. The rich texture leaves hands soft and smooth with no oily traces, and can be applied as often as needed. Considered a "beauty must-have" by many, this "life-changing" hand cream is essential for home, work and on-the-go.
Results of use:
I would love to say that this cream works wonders with my skin, but that’s not at all true. It feels like this is the most usual and unbiased hand cream with long-lasting stinky scent. When I had my hands really bad and dry, I was hoping so much that this cream could help me, but, as far as it was absorbed, the moisture feelings disappeared. When there was a severe dryness to my hands, I had to apply it three times an hour. Then I washed my hands and there was no effect at all, it’s just gone! More or less, the cream will work if you apply it overnight, granted that your skin is nourished and there are no severe problems with it. If you expect no effect from this hand cream, then yes, you’ll definitely love it.
But if I'm being serious, for this price we expect it to give good nourishment, moisture and be of a pleasant scent. But what if everything is vice versa? What do we pay our money for? I’m not ready to forgive this product, as it’s pricey, that’s why I’m so picky about it.
Price: $12, or $28 for the biggest tube
Overall, I want to say that this cream is average. It has quite an average nourishing effect, average ingredients and high price. And don’t forget that it stinks. This is all about the L’occitane Shea butter hand cream. I don’t recommend buying it, as it’s just a waste of money. There are so many other brilliant hand creams, much cheaper than this one.
I hope that you found my review useful. Have pleasant shopping!
