Hello!
To be honest, I can’t say that I like or don’t like the L’Oreal skin care products. They are flat for me. Sometimes I had an allergy reaction when I used it, or other times I had discomforting feelings. But I do really love different sachets, so once buying some products they gave me a sachet of the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water. I tried it and fell in love!
So this is the story of how I actually ended up having a full-sized product of Hydra Genius Aloe Water
Some information from the manufacturer:
This liquid care, inspired by Korean technology is like a boost of water for the skin, continuously refreshing it with hydration. This formula is lightweight and glides on easily for quick absorption, leaving skin with a comfortable and refreshing feeling. For illuminated, hydrated, fresh and healthy-looking skin. It is suitable for sensitive skin and can be layered with makeup. Immediately:
• Skin looks radiant.
• Skin feels softer and more supple.
• Skin feels plumped with hydration. After 4 weeks
• Skin texture looks smoother.
• Skin looks fresher, healthier and younger.
The main ingredients are aloe vera and hyaluronic acid.
72 hour recharge – it releases continuous hydration and drenches the skin with moisture for up to 72 hours.
It delivers pure moisture that penetrates quickly, deeply and continuously – without
overloading the skin.
There are three of the new Hydra Genius moisturizers in the collection:
- for normal/oily skin (mine)
- for normal/dry skin
- for extra dry skin
The ice blue glass bottle is of 70 ml and I bought it in Europe for € 9.95
Expires within 12 months after opening.
The bottle has a convenient press pump
The fluid itself is of a tender blue semi-see-through color. The texture is light and runny. The smell is very fresh, I can feel the aloe scent in here.
One pump is enough to apply the fluid all over my face. I apply it in the morning and overnight. For me that product is enough to replace all my face care products. After application this fluid looks sheen on my face but a couple of minutes later the sheen disappears.
It feels as though the fluid is like melting on my face.
just applied
a few moments later
I’ve been using it for two months already and I’m completely in love with it. I could never expect such a great product to come out by L’Oreal.
So, the Pros of the Hydra Genius Aloe Water Fluid:
- a little goes a long way
- this product can replace all other face care products, like day and night skin care creams
- easy to apply on the skin
- soaks in quickly
- doesn’t clog pores
- it does its main task, which is hydration - beautifully. My skin really stays hydrated for the next 24 hours
- if your skin is flaky or something, you’ll forget what that is if you start using this fluid
- my skin looks healthy and glowy
- it works well as a face primer (but still some foundations may not work over it).
Today it’s very hot outside, but my skin feels great! And I don’t even need to spritz thermal water over my face every 20 minutes!
So, girls I highly recommend you to choose the right fluid depending on your skin type and give it a go. It’s a gorgeous product!
