Today I want to make a review of the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water. There are 3 types in the collection:
- for normal and combination skin
- for normal and dry skin
- for dry and sensitive skin
I won this product on a cosmetics web site. After I received it and looked at the list of the ingredients, I was shocked. I became a “lucky” owner of a product with alcohol and dimethicone in the ingredients. But since I got this for free I decided to give it a try.
Size: 70 ml
The design is classy and very beautiful. The bottle has a pump which I find very convenient to use.
The consistency is runny, but at the same time the product is economical to use. I need a tiny bit to apply on my face. The fluid applies well and sinks in very fast. It smells very potently. The smell is pleasant but I don’t think that such a strong perfume agent is good for sensitive skin, this product is actually aimed at. I don’t like the fact that this smell lingers on me and I can feel it on my skin for a very long time.
I’ve been using this product for a month. And I clearly felt that my combination to dry skin wasn’t hydrated enough. It felt as though I was using a perfumed water and that’s all.
The product doesn’t work. It doesn’t make my skin any softer or a tad more hydrated. It doesn’t make it look glowy either. In a word - the product does nothing!
I can recommend it only if the most important thing for you is to apply at least anything onto your skin. And also if the potent perfume agent is not an issue for you, of course.
